Today I scare my girlfriend, brother, and friend in our new LS3 V8 swapped Porsche 911 Carrera 997! This is our first full send test drive after the motor swap, and holy cow this thing is FAST! This is now a 500HP Corvette swapped American blooded monster. We bought this Porsche dirt cheap with a blown motor for only $17,000. Now with the team over at Renegade Hybrids, the car lives on with a whole new lease on life. We had an LS1 swapped Porsche 944 Turbo years ago, so it's nice to have a V8 Porsche again. Should we LS swap a Boxster or Cayman next?

I love seeing the V8 LS3 engine inside the 911 with a Cam. I also love gold cars. I am on my 17th Porsche, a 911 Turbo S 2020. I would love to own a 911 like yours!!! Enjoy!!!! It sounds awesome and doesn’t weigh any more than normal‼️‼️🇺🇸✝️

That was an insane build, I love it, I have a question about to most 911 ls swap, did you convert the ls3 to dry sump cause I been hearing a lot about oil starvation under heavy cornering and I’m wondering your options on that.

both engines weight similar ,maybe for handling flat boxter has better center of gravity but dont think on daily use would be noticeable ,power makes it up for sure :)

Love it!!! Looks of the beautiful Porsche; but the power and reliability of a LS!!! How can you not love it! Don’t listen to the haters! You’d have to replace 2 more Porsche engines before that LS is even close to wearing out.

I look at it this way. Anybody customizing their car in any way.... is simply creating automotive art. It's your art. if it pleases you, do it. Jeez people. You don't have to be so negative. There maybe something on your sled that used to make me gawk, but I understand now that even though it may not appeal to me it is still just art. Your heads are exploding over a creative and beautiful sled. A Porsche with a Camaro engine, 500hp and rear wheel drive. JR, you have fun in that little bug with a rocket engine. I love it.

I love it!! The Porsche is so awesome!!! I have a 2014 Vette, and I can't imagine all of that torque going into a car of that weight. I have an 87 Carrera too, and with 217 horsepower, it still does 0-60 in 5.4 seconds. If I more than doubled the power, I can't imagine what that would feel like.

You seen the jet that takes people to area 51. I build power plants for a living and was close to area 51 about 700 feet in the air when a stealth bomber flew over the powerplants and landed inside the base where area 51 is. That was a site to see. It reminded me of the movie alien versus predator when the three predators had just arrived and flew over the camp. Talk about crazy.
