Hello from; On the great lakes in Canada! I love Scarlett Rivera; have since high school, when my cello playing friend Steve Melemis told me how great she is. I'd already bought Desire before meeting Steve but it had never clicked with me to think about the musicians in the band on a record. I just knew that I loved her sound. But then being a Scarlett Rivera fan kind of became a lifelong thing. To see her now, 45 years after she became known to me, with such clarity, so gracious and kind sounding, it's such an affirmation of everything I heard in the music so long ago when I was a teenager. Bless you, Scarlett. I love you. Thank you.

Beautiful stories. And a most charming lady. Has any musician ever added such a distinctive tone to an already-great artist's work? And credit here to the interviewer who is clearly well informed on Dylan and a genuine fan. Scarlet Rivera: delightful to hear these stories and get a sense of so much more than just the Dylan era. Absolutely had me 110% bonus super-plus when the animal rights theme is discussed. A diamond. Long live Scarlet!

This interview with Scarlet Riviera is an absolute must see. Her fate was meeting Bob Dylan. From that day she was picking up the violin 🎻 her destiny was on spinning into a certain direction,. The music brings people together. She met Bob, it must’ve been electricity ⚡️ in the air.. Scarlet is in my living room, fantastic technique nowadays. I’ll remember you as the beautiful woman who played with Bob, also cause you’re a great musician, I’m a bit surprised in a good way, you too has a rebellious mind, like Bob, like myself. I give you a virtual hug. You are a gifted person,, colorful and skilled. You’re, known all around the world, I appreciate you , more now when we you invites us to your home and the words are yours. Whatever journalist is Printing down, we’ve to take it with a pinch of salt . Hopefully you cross the Atlantic See, one day and perform in Scandinavia. You have plenty of admirers here,,

Thanks for this interview. Scarlet was very informative. Love her playing. "Desire" owes much to her contribution. Nice to know that she is friends with Joni Mitchell. Wonder who was the opening act the Scarlet did not want to play with?

Scarlett Riviera is such a delight. But Harold, you need to work on your interviewing skills. I wish I had a dollar for every time you said "um". I enjoyed her very much, but dude, you're hard to listen to.
