Isis is Bob Dylan’s most incredible track especially live 1975 the Rolling Thunder Review tour with Scarlet on such a psychedelic violin part that’s the fire in that sound!!! What a lucky gal what incredible timing she had in her life. Amazing. Cosmic. Far out.

Paul James opened for Bob at a show I saw. Another time I saw Bob in London, Ontario and Bob invited Paul to join him for a couple of songs.

He said "not a lot of people" knew him. That sounds plausible to me, although somes of his songs (Love in Vain, Stop Breaking Down, etc) would have been popular from covers

Every blues fan, every folk music fan, most jazz fans and every rhythm n blues fan as well as numerous rock n roll fans knew who Robert Johnson was in 1986.
