@@mdctt9021 Its true, he is american but his most famous song was produced in germany, and it can be considered part of a musical moviment called "eurodance", in the 90´s many songs from europe became popular worldwide, when the american/english pop/rock was a the predominant musical style until them. A simple eletronic beat, a catchy melody and mix of hip hop, thats what eurodance was about, and scatman was one one of those hits, along side with other songs like blue from eiffel 65, barbie girl from aqua, what is love from haddaway and many others, europe was the center of world popular music.

This guy was and still is AWESOME. Suffered from a severe stutter his whole life, probably got horribly bullied because kids are...y’know, kind of terrible sometimes. And he did NOT let it stop him! Also it’s really cool that another part of the brain is used when you sing! That’s why people who stutter can sometimes sing without any problem. Not to flaunt my smarts or anything, I bet everyone already knows. Point is, Scatman was a cool cat, and I hope I meet him on the other side someday.

This is the first video I made available for everyone about Scatman John. I've listened his songs months after I created this channel, so Scatman is part of my channel, including Looney Tunes or other theatrical animated cartoon series. I'll try to continue to upload more content about him until next year, so stay tuned if you wanna still see more Scatman content.

Same here. My experience with a severe stutter in school has made me have a huge soft spot for people who stutter. It's weird, people normally end up not paying attention when people start stuttering, but for me, when someone stutters it makes me want to give them my full undivided attention. It's just something you have to struggle with to understand, and it is rough. Thankfully I'm pretty good now.
