I was in a reading slump, and all the books I have did not ispire me, for some reason. So, I let Amazon decide for me. I go on the outlet section, I set a max price of 5 euro, I tell Amazon to only show me hardback copies (for some reason, if I have a block a hardback copy usually helps), and choose among the things that come up, with the book having to be under 350 pages. I have to say I found mostly 3 stars, but I got back to reading, at the moment, and I got a couple of really good books (5 stars).

Which should I choose? I have been wanting something horror/thriller, stand alone, and shorter, so maybe Nocturnal? If anyone has read this far what are your opinions haha Thanks!

i really liked The Mars Room! its dark and strange. for that reason, i feel like you might like it haha.

I went from This Is How It Always Is > Darling Girl > The Goldfinch > The Giver quartet, and then I got stuck bc there are few characters with names in that series, and even fewer who share names of authors I have on my TBR. The closest I could find was Vladimir by Julia May ~Jonas~, but I'm currently on hold for that at my library, so couldn't progress any further.
