Sadly Lakeside said I would have needed to charter my own train if I wanted to film. Definitely not in my budget 😢 ELR is on my page, they let me visit a few years ago

Sadly Lakeside wouldn't have me. They wanted me to charter my own loco for filming and I can't afford that. It is a shame as it is stunning, but I have to respect their wishes and rules. I am hoping to go to Wales and do some of the big ones, it didn't happen this year but I am talking to a couple of the main railways there for next year, so watch this space.

@@TheTouristLine is a shame.that you can t go to the Lakeside and have of Wight steam railway in the future maybe? I know it's only a short ride under an hour, but the scenery is beautiful. And are you going back to the East Lancashire Railway? It's the best railway. I live just 15 minutes away from it.😄
