Al Pacino took home the Oscar for Best Actor for his role in the movie.

Well deserved. Should have gotten it years before for his role in The Godfather. You always get a top notch performance from him.

@@chrisb.2178 Unfortunately, he gets a lot of flak from those who consider his win as an apology for his past losses. Many claim that Denzel Washington's portrayal of Malcolm X deserved the Oscar instead. Hence, many also criticize Denzel's win for Training Day as an apology (although he already won Best Supporting Actor for Glory).

For this film Al Pacino won an Oscar for best actor and this film is a remake from the 1974 italian film Profumo di donna directed by Dino Risi. Thank you lady great reaction excellent😊👍

19:50 His apology to his brother is such a devastating goodbye. 37:40 Is such a powerful scene as he is trying to see Charlie and you realize he likes the kids.

God Bless You Girl from my mom and I in Southern California USA 🇺🇸 We both love your channel!! This is an amazing movie and a favorite of my mom’s!! Especially the court scene at the end. I won’t give any spoilers but it’s probably the one if the most iconic scenes of all time! Al Pacino won an academy award for this movie! He said that he wasn’t going to do this movie unless Chris O’Donnell played in it with him. Another great Chris O’Donnell movies you should check out are 1. Kit Kittredge starring Chris O’Donnell, Stanley Tucci, And Julia Ormond 2008 2. Batman Forever 1995 With Chris O’Donnell, Val Kilmer, and Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face, Jim Carrey as the Riddler, And Nicole Kidman 3. Batman and Robin 1997 with Chris O’Donnell and George Clooney 4. The Three Musketeers 1993 Starring Kiefer Sutherland, Charlie Sheen, Oliver Platt, And Chris O’Donnell 5. Vertical Limit 2000 Please give these movies a watch!! All very good! This is such an amazing movie with powerful scenes and powerful characters. The acting of both Pacino and Charlie were top notch.

Frank admitted when Charlie was being introduced to the family, that his brother got him out of a lot of trouble. He had a quirk about him that he got pleasure out of shocking people. His newphew pointed out he liked to spit in everyone’s eye. Call people out on bs.
