Delivered Friday. Fully set up yesterday. Dropped the action, tossed on some 11's, and here's some Drop D Riffage through a Bogner Uberschall... enjoy \m/

I've got the C-1 in trans midnight blue and I love this guitar. I'm playing at home through a Orange Crush mini amp. This guitar is amazibg. Live I can't beat this guitar it just is awesome.. Great video!!

I have the Blue c1 platinum and its fucking awesome...wish the neck was a bit skinnier but it doesnt effect what i do.. Awesome jam bro.

This is absolutely my dream guitar. Every facet of the guitar is exactly 💯 percent what I was looking for in a guitar. The EMG 81 and 85 active pickups make it all that much more perfect. Last year I had finally saved up and guitar center was having a sale so i bought the green (almost Ninja Turtles looking color). I was considering the blue but said no lets do something different I absolutely live it couldnt ask for a better guitar. In closing I have to say that is cool groove you're playing. Has that kind of swagger and tone you here from a lot of bands from Heavy Metal/ Hardcore scene in New Orleans. Bands like Down, EyeHateGod, Soilent Green, CrowCrowbar Corrosion of Conformity (well at least Pepper is from NOLA/the lead guitarist), Superjoint Ritual and so on the list goes. Long winded way of saying I enjoyed this video. 🤘

I have the same exact guitar in blue. Most versatile guitar I've own and I have Les Paul American and Fender Strat American...The Schecter C-1 Platinum just rips through my Boss Katana modeling amp.

I also own american guitars (gibson, prs and fender) as well as a Japanese Ibanez. I don't buy or keep budget gear very often. This C1 is a keeper. Great feel, frets, sound and style. What a damn deal.

Schecter really makes some nice mid priced guitars. I think you'll really enjoy this guitar, if you decide to buy it. The neck is thin and fast, the frets are beautiful. Highly recommended.

@@voxterh.6166 Honestly... The tuners could be better. It stays in tune fairly ok, but if I could find locking tuners that would look as dope as the original tuners...they'd be replaced in a minute.

Schecter makes killer guitars better than Gibson, imo, for less than 1/2 the price.

I'm having a hell of a time trying to decide between getting the Schecter C-1 Platinum, the Schecter Reaper 6, and the PRS SE Custom 24. I'm extremely indecisive so I can't seem to make up my damn mind. At least I can say I've narrowed it down to those 3 guitars, but still not sure which one to go with. I would appreciate any suggestions, thoughts, or advice you might have in helping me to make up my mind. Cheers!

Well, my thought is.. you can't go wrong with Schecter guitars!! I played a few PRS guitars, but their necks just aren't to my liking. Schecter & Gibson are my two "go to" brands. But there's something about Schecter that I love. I never played a Reaper 6 though... but I bet its awesome.

I own the c1 platinum and the SE 24 and the schecter is a much better feeling/ sounding instrument. I love PRS core models but the SE models aren't of the same caliber especially for hard rock. The C1 is simply awesome for the cash.

Grate jam bro ...got a new jackson king v tuned to drop C cheap Marshall MG and a freedman OD pushing the Marshall OD ...just a lil bedroom rig for me but love riffing for hours...that's a bad ass home made riff you play here what's your drum software you use?

Thank you. Nothing like riffing out!! I use Toontrack EZDrummer for my drums. Its pretty easy to create jams with the EZdrummer. I have the Friedman BE OD Pedal also, its pretty bad ass.

@@deerslayeraudio2441 Have any amp recommendations? Peavy Vypyr X3 says in the manual it is designed for passive electronics. Schecter C-1 has active. But I did like the Peavy in-store and is on sale for $320. Boss Katana series looks less techy. Direct competitor, 100W amp as well. Don't need more than 100W/12" speaker.

@@RejectTheNarrative Well, I cannot speak for the Peavy Vypyr, as I never used one... But I do own a Boss Katana, and its a pretty decent amp; mine takes pedals nicely.

Tennis elbow from playing guitar? I recently just experienced this injury and going on 3 weeks now and doesn't seem to be getting better. Ps I have the same guitar.

I get it from time to time. I purchased a forearm brace for elbow tendinitis, it works. Ice works wonders also.

It’s the only guitar I own with active pickups. And the sustain is pretty amazing. I should play it a lot more than I do.

Solid guitar with the strings feel so close together if you're coming from an epiphone Gibson or acoustic I would not buy this guitar
