Early in the morning - it's still dark - but the construction site is already coming to life! The rigging of the 3-legged-prop Giuw support demands a lot from the construction workers.
The how and when of the rigging was already discussed during the preparation phase and the conclusion was reached to use a 66 metre high top-slewing crane, which operates above the cable car. Direct contact between the cabin operators and the chief mechanic is therefore essential. Despite the dizzying height, the teamwork runs like clockwork because the weather also plays along and the snow-free period is utilised right up to the last minute.
The days on the construction site are long, because it is already dark again by the time it gets quiet. You can really say that this is not just a job on a construction site - it's a lifestyle!
