Those boys are gorgeous,it is so cute how they look up at you waiting for their food,it really sounds like you have researched the amounts they need for their weight etc or did you discuss with the vet,you certainly do go to a lot of effort and its great that they are doing so well,great to hear mozzie is doing so well too

I appreciate you showing me your routine & food amounts. My 2 (Lola & Axel) who will be a year & a half on the 7th - eat twice a day. I feed dry am & cooked pm, but now see a better way with adding veggies. Ty

The boys are well taken care of. I do love to see them and their personalities. It's pretty straightforward to tell which pup is which, except for Miggy and Marley. I can't really tell them apart unless you name them. Maybe when you talk about their individual personality traits, you could give me a hint how to tell Miggy & Marley apart! Lol! Sending Love!

Love this info you are providing us Kim. I want to start making homemade food for my (new) schnauzer Max and find the info on KZfaq mind boggling. Are you using fresh veggies and just add to the boiled chicken? Thanks for this great info!

Always great information, what I do for mine , (miniature) still a puppy, (6 months) is give her raw food 3 times a day, 1/3 of cup each time. I give Merrick one, with grain ( I don't trust no grain ones). Works great, still she needs sometimes to taste a rock :) , but is what puppy does best, been a puppy .

Love the bowls. I tried the AKC treats that looked like little steaks, got a bag of them from Amazon because I couldn’t find them in NJ. I feed mine earthborn holistic dry food in a bag, it was recommended by the breeder. I also supplement with royal canine once in a while. I got him bully sticks but he would eat it so much he would throw up during the night so I stopped it. I am Going to try the pedigree dentabome I see your boys really seem to like. My mini schnauzer is with me all day long, he goes to work with me at m6 music store. Some people come to my store because he is there. He’s a great little salesman.

Thank you!! I lost my Airedale 11 months ago and I have had such a hard time adopting a dog. This next dog is going to be emotional support companion. I have a legitimate letter from my doctor. It has been a nightmare without my baby. Can't walk, sit ok n a bench without her. She was my socialization. Believe or not I just want a dog and yes I have preferences but i have a good home, and alot of love to give. Thanks to both of you for responding it means so much to me.

I cook and give raw. I give kibble too I add goat's milk and cow milk to their kibble.

Did your vet give you a recipe? My friend gives homemade food to her cats but researched where to buy and how to put enough nutrition into it as well as vitamins. It would be nice if you made a video about it!

The boys are so sweet. I appreciate you sharing how you feed your boys. Love those bowels. They look amazing. I never had a schnauzer what do you think about someone adopting one that has no experience with that breed. I was always told you shouldn't get a breed that you have no experience with. I live in the poconos part they are like non existent here. Like alot of breeds like my Airedales. So glad the boys are all doing great.💕 You are a great dog mom. That's so important for them. Love your videos, love to see them playing in the yard.

With lots of love and the right vet.you can do this. Just think, most first time Moms have no experience.

Well, my Tilly is a mini black schnauzer - was never interested in breed until I looked after one, for a friend. They do not moult, dribble or smell. They have their active moments and just love, being loved. Also enjoy human company. Quick to learn and my Tilly puts herself in crate at 6pm and up at 6am. Will go to her crate for nap. I have a blanket over it, so it's her little private haven.

That’s what I do. Feed homemade in the morning and dry for dinner. I had a question about the ground turkey you were making. What did you add to it ? I have never boiled the ground turkey I cook it in the skillet then add the other stuff to it.

We have fed our pup 2 times a day 1/4 cup puppy food. When did you start feeding your dogs 3 times a day. They are so well behaved in the video.

That is very healthy and low low fat. Looks so good I'd eat it. The Dentastix made Oscar and Oreo throw up. They loved Tidbits though.

My mini schnauzer, Yoshi has a lot of stomach issues and we’ve spent thousands getting every test in the book ran over the last 7 months. You inspired me to start making his food but I wasn’t sure what type of vegetables to use. Are you using frozen? Would it be possible to do a video showing exactly how you do it? Yoshi won’t eat dry dog food and I won’t let him starve in order to make him eat it. I don’t like doing that. He deserves something good to eat. I believe he will eat his prescription food mixed in though. I love your boys and your videos. My husband has Covid right now so it’s been a very long 2 weeks and it’s not over yet since it’s taking forever to get results back. I’m thankful he was treated for pneumonia and released from the hospital so it could be so much worse. I love having a video every day. Something to look forward to. ❤️🐶

I just found this, what kind of bowls are those, I've never seen those before... spoiled babies... getting chicken for breaskfast.... Abby and Major hate green beans and love peas and carrots! pasta too!

Thank you very much for very informative video. I am a bit confused, though because based on most resources daily intake of kibble for my 9 pound snorkie is 3 ounces. I think there’s probably more calories or nutritional value in kibble as I don’t see how I can give her 50% of what you give your boys for her to to gain weight. What is the total weight of food in ounces they consume on average a day?

Thank you for sharing. I am trying home cooking for my mini. Just started. She is very picky eater, sensitive stomach, and allergies. She is not a fan of kibble, I throw away more then she eats. So my vet suggested that I get her a multivitamin, when I asked which kind they recommend, they said any will do. When you talked with your vet, did they suggest a multivitamin for the boys, just incase you possibly wanted to cut out the kibble?

Check out the Zesty Paws brand. They're pricey, but my older dogs have a little more pep in their step since I started them on the multivitamin and allergy bites.

Do they exist for cats. One of my cats i need to feed him separate from the other two. Otherwise he will eat all the food.

Hi Kim🙋. Noticed you mention fat in boys food...but that is the MINIMUM....you need to monitor the MAXIMUM. There is a web site that addresses fat content. Can't remember site but I don't think it took too long to find. They list the MAX fat in many dog foods. If I find it again I'll E-mail it to you. Hope you have time to look at it. Yes. I have ALWAYS wondered about that. Why don't they do MAX. It makes me think there is a ton of fat that they don't want to highlight, that they want to hide. On that website was there indeed a lot more fat than what one would expect?

Feedings three times a day?! I can't even do twice a day. Once a day meals and a treat (usually fresh fruit or veggie) for breakfast and a bedtime supplement (treat) for my girls.

Just saw article on 9 human foods good for dogs. Apples for teeth to clean tartar etc. Asparagus tons of vitimins minerals antioxidants. Many years ago my mother had asparagus growing and her two pekinese dogs loved it raw. But might want to add cooked for a change up on veggies. I have been curious about the caulif and brocc. Do they get gas from them?

I just watched one of your videos that you're like really upset over. She obviously is not a schnauzer mom and didn't understand why you shaved your dogs down. Please don't let that bother u.
