I’m an INTP 5w4 Tritype 548. Watching you talk is like looking into an inverted image of myself. I know someone who is an INFP who is probably a 458. In my opinion her tritype gives her more of an INFJ vibe than a typical INFP. In my youth due to an unfavorable environment I probably socially masked as an 549 to avoid lengthy confrontation with the relentlessly abrasive people I found to be around me. But the inner resistance to control and the cynicism of the 8 seemed to always be in my core.

Seriously girl, that was hilarious ;) - - - I thought you did a great job of summarizing this type. I'm glad to finally see a video on the subject, and to get a brief glimpse of the 458 INFP in the wild (btw your utilization of Te in the creation of this presentation is commendable). One thing I'll add as a weakness (which goes hand and hand with egotism) is independence. It can also be a strength, but as you mentioned, being so comfortably alone and enamored with one's own ideas makes it difficult to invest energy in developing connections with others. So it comes down to, why grow (by connecting) if I don't have to? Why choose the more difficult and seemingly less 'rational' path? Why would I actually change, when I can just trick myself into thinking I've changed already? - - My brain seems to automatically dissociate certain wise 'revelations' I've had, which I know will involve either emotional vulnerability or hard work should I come to fully accept them. I'm the worst sometimes. (side thought: Perhaps core 4s may have an edge over 5 & 8s in this respect, because the 4 leans toward hyperintrospection and basically can't avoid coming face to face with their monsters. The sheer availability of my inner-toxicity provides me with alot of motivation for change.) - - I'm prone to writing people youtubecomment-doctoral theses, so I will end it here by saying that I appreciate this video and the time it took to make it. I'm infj and never thought we could have an 8 in our tritype. I thought I was 459 (any order) but just couldn't identify with that mellow energy. I can be quite intense especially about injustice. That always get me going. So thank you for this information. I will dig deeper into this 😊

My Tritype result was 4-8-5. I finally established that I am an INFP. When I've taken the MBTI, the J and the P are nearly always ~ 50-50. Anyway, I've always struggled with my mental health... probably because of the duality for one, and also my tendency for rebellion. I grew up in a strict religious family with rules to which I did not want to adhere. I had to learn spirituality my own way. I also love numbers. One of the first things I do when I meet someone new is learn their birthday. Once you tell me that information, it is stored in my brain forever. This is one way I show that I care. :)

I was a little distracted by the reflection in the glasses, however when you told us the TRUTH about Rebels, I was high-fiving the screen. We are NoT necessarily OUT to be rebels, however in contrast to those around us, they seem to think that we are. I would like to hear/learn more about the Rebel.

I am an INTP-T 5w4 Tritype 584 and your intermittent pausing to collect your thoughts in your speech reminds me a lot of the way i talk, especially on camera, it feels like your brain is a shotgun of ideas i'd say, broadly experimental, often in quite dark subject matters others wouldn't feel comfortable confronting. It's peculiar seeing people who think in a way so similar to me.

I am curious I have not done the enneagram tri type test perse but can I ask if you have done the traditional Enneagram test - if so , are the percentages of 5, 4 & 8 similar eg. 99%, 98%, 97%?
