Nedry's death in the book was so much better than the movie. It's worth the read just for that.

I always loved presentations, cause I read so much the day before I was like. "Ok, what should I do it on, oh that book I read 3 months ago and still remember clear as day, yeah that one.

I read the book in middle school (spoilers for the book if you want to read it), and I’ve re-read it a few times. The fake scientific and computer explanations last a long time. The little girl being bitten from the first movie is actually like the first 10th of the book. Hammond is a jerk and it’s revealed at the end he hates kids, Grant actually likes kids. Tim could use computers and lex was useless. Muldoon lives. Hammond and Ian Malcolm die (even though Malcolm makes a miraculous recovery to star in the second book). Several chase scenes were added, several ideas were reworked into the sequels from JP2 to the first Jurassic World. Almost every change from the book to the movie was better. The only change I did like but it couldn’t have worked in the movie, was that when Dodgson was talking to Nedry, you didn’t find out it was Nedry until after he shut down the park.

I read the book and it’s very different from the movie. It’s actually darker and much more gruesome, and there’s several character differences. Now you know :)

The trick is when doing a presentation about a book that also has a movie you watch the movie and do the presentation about the movie and when someone at the end asks “so is the movie like the book” you say “I haven’t seen the movie” so the teacher thinks you actually got all of your information from the book.

A few days ago we had to read a book during holidays but I didn’t.. then when school started we wrote a test and i didn’t know anything so i was just guessing. But eventually it was a C pretty good for just guessing I think it’s in my blood because I also have good grades in tests I didn’t study for!😂

Presentations were awful for me, I mean, REALLY awful. This one time I was starting to do it about a random book and I was really nervous, I was sayig gibberish and then when I look at the class, one person was almost laughing at my face, so when he did the presentation after me, I did funny faces and gestures so that they couldnt keep a straight and the whole class was laughing at him and in the end I smiled at him in a devious way. He hated me so much after that, he already hated me before that but it just got worse. At the end, I got my revenge.
