Just scrolling through two years of memories. The smiles, the tears, the questioning. Was it just a godsend to teach each other? Was it suppose to be “temporary” was it my fault? Was it her fault? Was it both of our faults? The pondering of, the feelings of the disintegration, the disconnect. Thinking “there’s usually a resentment phase? There’s usually that part within us that try’s to convince some type of justification to help us move forward”. But I don’t have these thoughts, or these feelings? And the most peculiar part is it’s mutual. So where did we go wrong? Why did we disconnect? Why didn’t it work? We’re we really just two different people wanting the same thing? We’re we meant to fill a temporary void to help guide us to the future? Did we stumble upon each other at just the right moment to protect one another from one bad decision that could’ve effected us for the rest of our lives? Was this a blessing in disguise? We could’ve stuck it through and worked out the differences and possible gave in to each others way of life. Maybe some more patience, some more understanding, some extra tongue biting. Did I listen enough? Was I listened to enough? Did we mis communicate in such a minute way, that the end game was catastrophic? This is on a constant loop when I’m not keeping occupied. But at times I feel time just passing by. The fear of not knowing, but the tranquility of hoping, I know she’s better off without me. I know she will be stronger because of this. I know I can handle this by myself, but I want her to succeed and I want her to thrive and achieve her goals. I want her to find me, in another person that has that extra that I was not able to provide to her. And no matter what I will always have her back. Without hesitation. She was my true love sent to me by the gods of patience, and I was not able to fulfill that test. But I need to let her fly and be the strongest she will ever be. Don’t settle for less my love.
