That was our method in the pre keep and main keep. Always building dog up never had to cut feed.

That Tacoma stuff was down from Mr. Al Brown. May have been some Mr. Doyle stuff in it. But not sure. When I first got into the dogs. One of my local friends and a very good dog man had some of that Tacoma stuff. Were very good dogs.

Yep that's true. Tacoma Jack from Tudor's Black Jack blood heavily influenced the staffs.

I remember the Bellon Club in the magazine. They had that Crenshaw’s Stu Fowler stuff. I was wanting to breed to Goolsby’s Road Warrior, but he didn’t come back from an outing at a Bellon show where went into Goyos. That’s right before I became interested in the Texas Ironman’s stuff after he went down there and beat the Bellon Club twice with the same dog, a feat that probably never had been done before or since with Ch.Nemo. I thought he beat Flame and Gizmo with BBRed, but I was most impressed with Nemo and his litter mates, even more so than Banjo and BB.

I had Ch Penelope, she was bred by James Creel. I bred her to Ch Termite. I went to the Deep South to see Kirklands Ch Texas. I also was in contact with Mr Wilson with the Gd Ch Freebee dog. I wish I had bred to him.

He didn't sale his yard to him if you listen to the interviews he makes the comment that he placed his dogs where he wanted them which was some younger dog me that he thought highly of and respected and knew that they would do right by the dogs and he still considers them family to this day
