At our school they’re so strict with uniform,piercings, hair, make up shoes, etc but how can they set us those rules when their teachers are allowed to have luminous pink hair, multiple pearcings in each ear, short af skirts: dresses and piles of make up on... I can’t stand hypocrites and how is any of the above going to affect our learning and education?? All they care about is how we look..

As a person who used to go to a school similar to Brit, I want to say first hand that it was not her ability that made her not get in, it’s her maturity. There were SO many people like this at my audition, extremely talented (most of them better than me lol) and none of them got in. Because you only get so much time on your vocational work, the teachers do not have time to be dealing with people messing around to the extent that Tawny did. You may not think it, but when deciding on if you should get a place, teachers look at your references and grades much closer than you might think, and if there’s anything really recent that doesn’t look good, your chances of getting offered a place get very slim. At this age, they’re not even looking for crazy amazing talent, just a desire to learn, which she doesn’t look like she had when this was recorded. I genuinely feel bad for her, as I can tell that she has a lot of potential if she just stops being so full of herself and thinking she’s better than everyone else. On the other hand, I could tell immediately why her friend got in ,she’s got a bubbly personality without being annoying or arrogant. I really hope Tawny continued with her performing, as I can see she’s got a special quality about herself!!❤️

if i’m being honest i can see straight through her, and as a teenage girl myself it’s so clear that her confidence is a front which reading the comments it quite unfortunate to see everyone saying she seems rude, cocky etc when realistically she’s probably a lot quieter and potentially just a self conscious teen trying to find herself

I thought Tawny was rude and ultimately Alice deserved it more than her. It's clear Tawny is talented but to make it in the world of an actress or a singer, you have to be likeable, and Tawny is not making herself out to be very likeable.

I'm not at all surprised Tawny didn't get into the BRIT School. Even if she has the talent, she definitely doesn't have a suitable attitude or personality; she doesn't have the sense of self-discipline that such prestigious schools would usually expect in their students, not to mention she seems very rude and arrogant. If she got in, she wouldn't last if she carried on how she was.
