Schumacker was clearly allways leaving the racing line to defend and then he would not leave space and block Hamilton on the racing line, wich is a clear rule violation.

Bigger Issues mclaren was a far better car than mercedes in 2012.

Bigger Issues First of all, this is motorsport. Of course the driver skill doesn’t fully weight on the results. Specially from the late 80's onwards. That’s obvious. Second I didn’t said Schumacher was better than Hamilton, because I can’t say that with no bigger value than personal opinion. And to be honest i really don’t have an opinion on that at all. It’s a tough one. But for me both of them are not the best drivers ever. Though they’re the greatest winners indeed. Yes, if in one hand the evidence does not support Michael superiority over Hamilton, than it doesn’t do the opposite either. The fact is: Mclaren was a far better car than the early Mercedes, that’s a fact, not opinion. Just look up the numbers. Schumacher was a 43 retired driver fighting a far younger exceptional talent. He was no more the same Schumacher when he retired in 2006. One can easily say he was far behind hid better form when he returned fours years later.

I would base this opinion on how difficult their car was to drive

i watched the race again recently. didn't anything about very low downforce setting. I heard about Ross warning him couple times about illegal moves.

I think it had more to do with the gear ratio's, Lewis hit the rev limiter at 330 kph while Button got past Schumacher more easily as he had a longer 7th gear and thus could reach a higher top speed.

Your description was absolutely stunning! There's no one pilot in formula1 with this ability, the Mercedes was crap car and even though he drove on the edge, putting the car over limit, if you think about it, is scary how he could deliver; the car far away behind with strong engine though, your skills was years ahead everyone else even today; and that's scary as hell!

The McLaren was a better car than Mercedes back then but at this particular race McLaren screwed up Hamilton's gear ratios which resulted in him hitting the rev limiter far too early along the straights which also had the added effect of shutting his DRS long before the braking zones. It was a clear compromised settup and combined with Schumacher's numerous illegal defensive manoeuvres the only reasons there was any kind of battle here. Hamilton would have easily dispatched Schumy without his car issues while Schumacher himself needed to worry about far more important things like getting obliterated by Nico Rosberg 3-0 from 2010-2012. I think his race craft was fine before if you look at his junior career, Schumacher placed his car very well with the skinny wing and Hamiltons short 7th gear. Pity the uploader didn't show when Schuey accidently skipped a gear that allowed Hamilton to pass.

He just spams lots of videos with his ignorant dumb shit. -He uses Villeneuve's, Herbert's, lots of british journalist's and current Mercedes team members' interviews to prove that Hamilton is the GOAT. -Here in this very video he says Hamilton's car is compromised but then shows China2010 as an example of Hamilton schooling Schumacher. -He brings up shitload of dumbass excuses like "NicOLe duMPed hiMMM in 2011 :(((" and loses his mind when you mention Button and Rosberg beating Hamilton. -But when we mention Schumacher being in his 40s, returning after a 3 year hiatus, his neck injury from 2009 bike accident and his 2012 performance and technical issues, he loses his mind again and screams "Rosberg beat Schumacher 3-0, wHy doN't yoU acCepttTT" -He think Schumacher was on his prime post2010. Because he desperately forces himself to believe this crap nobody believes. And he is using the dumbest things possible to prove this. He says Schumacher was walking topless around Rosberg in briefings to show how fit he was. He even says Fangio's titles which he won in his 40s in 1950s prove that Schumacher was on his prime post2010. He is so biased/ignorant that it is laughable.
