Schwinn Cruiser FAT Bike Tire with KEVLAR

After 3000 miles over 2 years, here are my thoughts on the Schwinn Cruiser Bike Tires with Kevlar (Black, 26 x 2.12-Inch). These are FAT tires.

''Not scared of small animals'' that reminds me. The most weirdest thing happened to me while i was taking a late night shortcut through an ally way when all of a sudden 2 big skunks dart out from a gangway while me being totally unprepared riding with no hands actually managed to run over both of them. I couldn't reach the handle bars quick enough to turn and avoid them and the fist skunk got my front and the last got my rear. And my bike got sprayed but i stuck around to make sure they was ok and hosed the bike down. Didn't work! Skunk smell in my tires for the entire week but at least i was riding full suspension and they were ok. There's not allot of people on this earth who can say they accidentally ran over 2 skunks with no hands and also making a full recovery of the bike

How are they for smoothness/comfort? I remember my sister had this girl's bike when we were kids, I took her bike when my bike's tire had a flat to go to the store. I was embarrassed at the time, but wow was it comfortable. I have never experienced anything like that since. It felt like a car with cushy tires and an air suspension. I'm trying to find something like that again. I don't care about speed at all.

You are slower, but not because of the size of the tire. It's because these tires run at a much lower pressure then skinner tires. Between a 3" tire and a 1.5" at the same PSI the 3" has less rolling resistance, but you never see 3" tires that allow for 70+ PSI, most are limited to 30-35 PSI. The weight of the tire only effects your acceleration/hill climbing, not top sped.

In another video on youtube there is a review that shows the tire with a schwinn box, but has innova on the side of the tire (different name brand). Do you believe that the tire really has kevlar, or that the tire itself is just very thick. Maybe false advertising?

i cant be sure, but i am going to say it does have Kevlar in it.

I just did a search on Amazon for them and found one with Kevlar BEAD.

How are they in snow? I live in canada and im looking to buy a set

Paul Reyes they would definitely be way more stable than a normal tire

Paul Reyes i use these on a zeda 80cc motorized beach cruizer and the wobble is gone at 40 psi. And i have put 1.5k miles on a set before. I needed a new set try the maxxis hook worm. They are great on a beach cruiser

I can't stand when they shipped these tires they zip tie the hell out of them so when you inflate them and put them on your rim you have creases from the squeezing of the zip ties during shipping
