thats a great question. The main challenge with AI generated video at the moment is temporal and spatial consistency between frames. Basically the AI model does not understand the physical world and does not know how objects really behave it just understands what it has training data of. Imagine if you were from a completely alien world with random physics and you would try to understand our world through movies you "see". The models basically do not have enough quality training data to accurately guess how physics work.

Tools evolve so rapidly, something that was considered cutting edge a week ago is obsolete now so hard to tell where it ends up.

Sorry for the late reply, glad you liked it! Extra special effects like bullet impacts are added the traditional way in after effects or any video editing software which supports tracking of objects. The explosions and base footage are all AI generated then the effects are layered on top (you can use Pika labs, Runwayml or Zeroscope nowadays to generate video from text instructions or images). Sounds effects are partially AI generated (with AudioLDM) and some of them free stock sounds. Voices are made with Elevenlabs or any comparable text to speech service. I hope this helps!

I would agree if this was a standalone piece but it is meant to have a larger story in the future, this was the character introduction. Many movies start with action scenes not at all tied to the narrative, for example the Dark Knight

I think the main character is a Cyborg who feels like his kind should be the only ones left, while the niave female who rises the child is a nurse bot who is like the future mid- wife which explains why she is often reluctant to that and the satellite is a military project gone hijacked and at the midpoint we find out it's a moral grey area where the line to find outthey are wiping out humanity because the robots where made with self fulfilling psychotic programing mentality of its going to go bad gears an example oh look it's rouge a.i went there as both sides are on the conflict and the child gr9ws up bridging the gap between man and program

I used modelscope not runway, it can produce higher resolution but it's much more difficult to use. Also it was upscaled and interpolated. But the tech is ahead of this already. There are maybe 10 seconds of stock footage used. Blender was not used to animate anything only to move the camera over the ai generated footage (this was maybe again only used for 10 seconds of footage).
