Members of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists unveiled this year's Doomsday Clock on Tuesday. The clock - a virtual depiction of how close we are to the end of the world - was kept at 90 seconds to midnight. The scientists cited the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, the Israel-Hamas war and climate change as factors contributing to the clock being set to the closest it's ever been to midnight.

me thinks somebodies clock is off.... Is the Earth really overpopulated? Yes, for two main reasons. First, people are rapidly displacing wildlife species across the globe, initiating a mass extinction event. Second, we are degrading ecosystems that provide essential, irreplaceable environmental services that future generations will need to live decent lives.

The biggest problem here is that these people live in a bubble of peers that all think the same way that they do. Therefore, none of their thinking gets challenged. That is a problem for science as a whole and definitely a danger for this to be professed to the public as some version of fact and "science". This is only opinion of people of a bent that are trained to a certain way of thinking.

After having my taxes reviewed by many professionals they said I over paid in taxes for at least 30,000 dollars good luck getting them to pay 🤓 you back lol next time you take your taxes to a professional who's been a professional for 20 or 40 years what I found out is they're still the wrong person for the job and you would think yes but the tax lawyer has a job for the same reason it's not to help people make the world a better place.
