I don't get where anyone gets this conclusion from that David created the first xenomorphs **and the ones in Alien and Aliens are descended directly from that and couldn't have come from anywhere else.** I never came away with that impression after watching Prometheus and Covenant multiple times. It was very clear to me he was operating from a "blueprint" so to speak, to create the "wolf" the engineers tried to "banish from their garden of lambs", to create the very thing the engineers abhorred and feared most. **His experiments get results closer and closer to the xenomorph we see on the mural in Prometheus, whose origin is still completely unknown, other than the fact that the engineers apparently have enough of a relationship or history with it to make a mural of it, which implies the xeno has been around for a very long time, at least since that juggernaut in Prometheus was built, which we know was lying dormant on LV-223 for over two millennia.** David feels a spiritual kinship with the xenomorphs because they, like David himself, are unruly children kept tame and docile by a forceful, fearful parent race whose primary concern is themselves. He feels that he and the xenos can free each other from the programming of their spiritually dead parents.

Id say just ignore the last two movies and stick with the Dark Horse comics. Mala'kak > Engineers

This is awesome and while I do love all your efforts in these video, I’m going to encourage you to write a novel, even if just fan fiction. This would breathe such fresh air into the franchise. I enjoy the current films however I do believe organic life proceeds David and a story like yours would indeed move the Alien universe forward beyond the silly vendetta of a rogue robot. I love these videos. Though I dont get having the alphas find the mysterious substance. If they can grow interstellar ships organically.. seems unlikely the substance would be so mysterious to begin with. And it implies another et civilization either equal to or above the alphas.

I like the the Prometheus theory, and storyline you you created. I think the Predators are better left in their own universe that occasionally enters with that of the xenomorph.

A novel of the engineer backstory is possible, I would like to see them do much similar to the Star wars franchise but make comics and other stories that work in the same universe canonical. I won't rant star wars here, but as far as alien and predator being in the same universe I hope that can be salvaged and that David wasn't the true creator/original creator of the alien.

This reminds me of matpat's Minecraft theories making your own original lore for something that already exists I'm not saying that's a bad thing no infact I think you should try to animate this or make original sketches of these to make it more cinematic (again I'm not trying to insult you I'm just saying this would make a great series)

Great story and good way to connect the original and new movies. My only issue with your story is the beginning premise of how the alphas receive the black goo. Given how advanced that the Alphas are and how they have mastered biological science to the point of growing interstellar ships and new species, its is impossible for me to imagine a member of such a species carelessly bringing a dangerous biological sample onto his ship without being able to properly contain it. Such a species would have countless biological sensors to detect dangerous pathogens and materials, let alone very strict protocols for handling unknown biological materials, including containment fields, containment facilities on the ship that would ensure the safety of the crew.

If they make an Alien vs Predator movie that took place after the events of Aliens, the writers should tell the audience the backstory similar to your story by following the plot: how the Alphas created the Engineers, how the Predators were at war against the Alphas, how humans and other life on Earth were created by the Engineers, how the Protomorphs/Xenomorphs were created, how David failed the kill humanity, and how it all set up in the two following films.

Interesting theory, and great idea. But how come no one has thought of this possibility.... The zenomorphs could have been created by, or perhaps are distant cousins of the Species creatures? The connection being they both come from the Geiger nightmare reality. The engineers could have acquired the black goo technology and possibly other tech from the Species aliens. I am however in no way suggesting the species created the engineers. Im currently exploring this idea in a story of my own, and any ideas/thoughts on this concept would be welcome/appreciated...

Wait so is there a theory as to where the black goo originated from? I always thought the Engineers were the creators of the black goo until I started to watch your videos.

I honestly wonder whether Prometheus was Ridley Scott telling off the fans. The lore-plot is "wise and nobel creators (Engineers / Scott) give of themselves to create something beautiful (life on earth / Alien1979). Humans go seeking the meaning of the creators leading to humanity making crude facimiles (David / the other movies) and unearthing all the bits and pieces haphazardly and try to make sense of it (messing around in pyramids like bumbling oafs / deep lore and fan theories of how everything works tearing away the mystique of the unknown). Weyland desperately wants more of this wonderful thing hes been given ( more life / more alien movies), and the engineer (scott) responds by ripping the head off of his disguisting mockery and beating weyland to death with it (scott tearing fan theories and the fundamental concept of continuity or deep lore to shreds and doing whatever he wants)". Am I reading too much into this? Absolutely. Is that how Scott is actually thinking? almost certainly not. Did this pop into my head when that scene happened when I saw it in theaters? Absolutely.

Apologies ahead of time, wording is one of my many failings here. But what if that suit in the first movie everyone is losing it over expanded from moisture and biological seffusion to host body and did actually fossilized as it was assumed in the original. I mean it's basic science that moisture causes expansion... The suits are ancient beyond reason as we've established several times. Its simple but based in science we currently understand... I dunno. The visuals have always been what appealed to me more than it's plot anyway with Aliens.

i prefer the engineers lore which pretty much is similar but not quite the same. it also answers why they have a mural of a deacon, basically a deacon created engineers and engineers could only reproduce by that deacons blood they ran out and made an artificial deacons blood to continue which is a bio mechanical mutagen, the first deacon is worshiped as a god by engineers also the engineers on planet 4 are not quite pure engineers they all have normal eyes. my guess is they are the result of engineers consuming first deacons blood and humans are the result of them consuming the biomechanical deacons blood or visa versa.

So if the alphas didn’t create the black goo where did it come from who dropped that black box or boxes on that planet ???

David didn't create the original alien , he created an other sub variant of the alien in (covenant ) , the alien DNA was contained in the black goo , The black too itself is entirely separate from what the engineers are drinking at the beginning of Prometheus ! , this goo was described to be the blood of their lord , later on you find that is to be the deacon In some deleted scene , you'd see more murals on the wall One of which is an engineer being attacked my some sort of octopus sort of alien The result of this came to be the deacon Note the this deacon is different from the one portrayed on the mural Anyhow , this deacon was later worshiped by the engineers has it would give them life somehow After its death , they discovered by drinking its blood they could seed dead planets , essentially creating life , the goo would have to be drank , to achieve full mutation with the cells , this in turn created you types of cells which results in the dust which spreads around the planet , life starts growing rapidly after that These seedings done by the engineers tho are experiments to being back their lord Once the blood was used up they tried to create it but instead came up with the black goo something different from the goo which gives life this one takes time , it kills everything The engineers saw its potential has a weapon , Essentially they would use to wipe out humanity , since according to them were a savage race
