When scoliosis is diagnosed, more often than not, patients are diagnosed by a specialist whose focus is not scoliosis treatment. As a patient, this should be your first inquiry, do you want to be treated by a doctor who doesn't focus on scoliosis treatment or not? This will be the difference between getting a doctor who will only address your symptoms and one that treats, looking to reduce and improve your scoliotic curve.
Patients will also need to decide if they are looking for traditional treatment or conservative treatment. If you're treated by a surgeon, the outcome most likely will be surgical. However, if you work with a scoliosis specialist, the approach will be geared towards reducing the curve and avoiding surgery. So, your doctor will determine your outcome. 3. Side-effects of surgical intervention

I am 89 years old and have scoliosis. I am in a lot of pain in my lower back and the worst pain is in my right leg. I see a chiropractor twice a week and get some relief on those days. Are there other things I can do?

Hey is there any doctors in capetown south africa i have the c. Scoliosis and im 38 years old.. Im experience different of pain in my right leg hips and my left shoulder is paining it almost feels like a nerve thats hurts me and that makes that i cannot sleep at night.
