There was no cgi in this movie, shaggy just summoned the monsters by using 0.14% of his power.

They were originally gonna give Velma cheap fake glasses but during filming they found out that you couldn’t look shaggy directly in the eyes so they had to spend most of their budget on extra-thick lenses to protect Velma

Who knew that Matthew Lillard would became the official voice actor of Shaggy after many people loved his portrayal as Shaggy in the two live-action Scooby-Doo movies and also when the late Casey Kasem retired as the voice actor for Shaggy in 2009 and that Linda Cardellini would voice Hot Dog Water in Scooby-Doo!: Mystery Incorporated?

I was thinking the same thing. A coupel of the lines in here I don't remember ever hearing. Apparently in the original version of the film it was PG-13 and had some more adult references, velma/daphne kissing, more weed jokes, etc. Some parents got mad and Warner made it more kid-friendly :(

Does anyone remember when they found the camera in the one room, Shaggy actually took a picture of Scooby, the one that ended up on Mr. Mondavarious's desk. I seem to be the only one to really remember that scene, but I remember it quite clearly. I've only seen that part in the movie theaters, and haven't since. Also, when taking the photo, Shaggy said "like, say cheese Scoob."

Say what you want about the movie, but i loved it. A childhood staple of mine. And it also gave us the perfect casting of Matthew Lillard as Shaggy and the start of a fantastic couple that i had the pleasure of meeting in Positano this summer.

the reason scooby couldn't speak properly was because shaggy felt intellectually and physically intimidated so whilst scooby slept shaggy took advantage of this and teleported half of scooby's brain into scrappy that's why he became evil
