Mega! Huge power, clean aesthetics, track-oriented. Thumbs up. BUT! You really really need to get the owner to put a proper harness bar into his cage, that shoulder harness angle is dangerous and will almost certainly cause spinal compression fractures if he gets into a collision.

guys, that was like 7000rpm max, my dads zxr 400 sounds like that at red red line which is around 14000. Rotaries sound like a normal engine with the same amount of cylinders but twice the rpm because they fire every revolution instead of every second( per cylinder/ rotor )

1. It was not 7k Rpm, try doubling that. 2. Your dad's ZXR 400 does not have a 14k max rpm, try 10k. 3. I have never heard of a normal engine sound like a rotary, good try.

Nate Schroeder I have now finally driven it , it limits at 15000 rpm. Of course you could have just typed it into the search bar on this beautiful website. You will also find it sounds quite a lot like it, especially with a nice exhaust :)

I bet it's naturally aspirated... right? Because 4 rotor + turbocharger = over 1000PS But why racing cars (like the ones racing in LeMans) have naturally aspirated engines on?

Mazda didn't install any induction kit to their Le Mans Racing cars (787B / 767B and so on) due to durability issue. Yes the engine is capable of reaching an insane amount of RPM and Horsepower. Easy. 24 Hours race. Elements to win: -Durability -Reliability -Safety

fuel consumption is also a guess. i remember reading the lemans 4 rotor engine was one of (if the THE) most thirsty engines on the track.
