I am a retired RCMP Officer living in a rural setting in Nova Scotia, Canada. I spend my time enjoying nature and feeding my furry friends, the raccoons. I also feed the deer in the winter months and many varieties of birds. I have two rescue cats named Connor and Charlotte.

Suspect I'm not the only person who now talks to their cats and dogs like Jim. Canadian accent, inflection and phrases. My cat looks like a racoon ... but often catch myself and think, crumbs, I'm morphing into Jim. Especially loved watching Scooter and you one on one. Intimate and special - especially in the day light.

Hi Jim hi scooter 👋 hope it’s cool there it’s so hot 🥵 here I’m staying indoors today the heat and me don’t get along so well especially that I got heat stroke years ago haven’t been the same since 😢 so the doctors told me to stay inside with air conditioning and drink water I’m on my fourth glass of water 💦 so far I’ll come back again tonight see you later

My friend had a problem with flies in her chicken coup. She hung vanilla, pine tree car fresheners all over the coup and the flies are gone. I hope you will try it. I'd love for it to help. Flies are nasty.

Scooter looks like she is finally putting a little weight on. Feeding babies sure has taken a lot out of her, glad you are taking good care of her, she needs that. I did the blood thing yesterday, like you I'm on thinners, shaving my face is torture if I knick myself.
