Scooter Cannonball Run - Must Have Items

Here is a link to my day by day recount of the trip: • Scooter Cannon Ball Run
I would not do the scooter cannonball run without having these things at a minimum.
Stuff for your scooter:
1. quart of oil carried on you at all times. (funnel too)
2. extra gas
3. 1 spare rear tire
4. belt, rollers, shoes
Stuff for your comfort:
5. wind screen
6. throttle lock
7. sunglasses or dark visor
8. sunblock if not totally covered or neck gaiter
9. rain gear / wind gear
10. motorcycle safety suit - full body.
11. water
12. ear plugs - soft wax self forming plugs
13. riding gloves
14. GPS or phone with offline maps

Thanks for the information. Decided to get a 150cc, load it up with 170lbs and still maintain below the weight limit so I can have All the amenities and comforts while having a smooth ride

Feb31 - thanks for the props. My experience stands on the shoulders of people like you that made this event happen. IMO you were the backbone of it - the website, the tracking, the logos (stickers and patches), the evening parties, the route, scooter maintenance help, and the list goes on. Honored to know you.

Before I started riding again I purchased alot of motorcycle gear two pair ce armor over pants & four different ce armor jacket, one Can-Am pants & RAC3 denim ce armor pants and pair of boots, two pair gloves! An airhawk seat cushions and tire repair kit & tools!

Nice quality video but maybe not the best way to disseminate the info. I think this should instead be written list shared via google docs. A video should add something that a list cannot add (you do that a bit with your reasons for the items but that too could easily be written) and as it is a person wanting to use the info here would ... write it all down on a list. Also, it takes 10 minutes to see a list of a dozen items.

I think this is insightful - "A video should add something that a list cannot add" Totally right on. Thanks for the comment. I need to make sure that when I put out a video I am providing something in this format that would be missed otherwise. Appreciate it.
