In today's video, I give you 4 Stupid Simple Ways to Score More Points. These basketball scoring hacks will help you instantly increase your scoring average! The awesome thing about these simple basketball scoring tips, is that they are super easy to implement for players at every level. By implementing these scoring tips into your game you can almost immediately skyrocket your scoring and your overall basketball skill level!
So my first scoring hack to score more points is "Jump Stops" jump stops are not only highly effective, but they are also super good in terms of slowing your pace down and limiting bad turnovers! If we look at a lot of the top guards in the NBA think of guys like Kyrie Irving and Damian Lillard both do a great job of utilizing jump stops in the paint! This allows them to make good decisions with the ball by dishing to the big, shooting the ball, or kicking out for an open three pointer! Overall jump stops are a huge advantage so make sure you are implementing them into your game to become a better all around basketball player!
My second stupid simple way to score more points is to have an explosive first three steps getting into transition. Basically meaning once your team secures the ball via a rebound or a steal, making sure your first three steps to running in transition are explosive gives you a huge advantage. The reason why it's so important is that you can get a ton of leak out opportunities for layups and wide-open transition 3 pointers. The great thing about this is that it has nothing to do with your athleticism as a basketball player, it does, however, have everything to do with your motor and overall effort. So if you are willing to get out and run the floor you will have numerous opportunities throughout the course of the game to get easy buckets. If we look at the elite scorers in the NBA guys like Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Those players do a phenomenal job maximizing their opportunities to score the basketball in transition, simply because the looks they get are so wide open. So if you want to really skyrocket your scoring the first step is to get out and score in transition.
My third basketball scoring hack to score more points is crash the glass! Some of the easiest looks in a basketball game come from getting an offensive rebound and immediately putting it back up! I talk about how to position yourself to get the most offensive rebounds possible. Just by making an effort to get offensive rebounds you can increase your scoring average by 5-10 points a game! So make sure you are crashing the glass every opportunity you get and score more easy points!
My 4th Stupid simple way to score more points is to sell fouls! Selling fouls is something that will up your scoring average the fastest. If we look at the top scorers in the NBA think of a guy like James Harden of the Houston Rockets, one reason why he is always leading the NBA in scoring is because of his ability to draw fouls. James Harden gets around 5-10 extra points a game by shooting free throws. Selling fouls is a crucial part of scoring more points on the basketball court. Make sure you implement my tops tips to see your scoring average skyrocket!
As always make sure you are paying close attention to these basketball scoring tips so when the time comes you can really expand your game to the next level! Watch the video all the way through and implement these scoring tips into your game today!

Hey coach need help with my free throws. I practice a lot and go to the line as a guard 4-5 time a game for like 8 free throws. Usually I’m shooting 1 or 2 of like 8 which is horrible. I spend hours training and can’t seem to hit them. It’s like when I walk to the line I already feel like I’m going to miss. I love contact and not afraid even as a small pg that always puts big guys in foul trouble but could easily be averaging 8pts more per game. PLEASE HELP
@faceless-x-abberation8400
@faceless-x-abberation8400 3 жыл бұрын
Lol I see your biggest flaw - your mentality. When I go to the line I’m automatically thinking it’s free points. I’ve worked on my form so much that for me they have become easy. Find the correct form and then stick with it. Just have pure confidence. Make sure you work on your form by practicing the fundamentals. Having a good release and follow through are crucial to being a good free throw shooter. Once you’ve got that then don’t even think anything other than your shot is going in. I practice just by seeing how many I can hit in a row or out of 10, 15 or 20. If it’s not your form then it’s just your confidence so you’re halfway there already. Good luck!

That’s when you go home and practice even more and build up your own game so that your play will elevate your teammates game as well. If they’re sitting ducks like that then you’re just gonna have to get better yourself and make it happen. Maybe if you start leading by example then they’ll be more prone to listening to you and following your lead. If you’ve gotta pull an Allen Iverson to get some wins then I say go for it. Obviously those guys don’t care much if they won’t even move to get open. So lead by example, carry the team if you need to and talk to them. Get on them. Motivate them. You can do it! I hope it all starts looking up for you. Good luck!

Start practicing shooting with one hand it's going to be easy just go to the free throw line and keep practicing doing it use the other hand to grab the ball and use your other hand to do a one hand shot then you going to be good at 3pt and 2pt
