Never seen anyone do this on youtube, this should have more views. When I was younger, my grandpa allowed me to shoot a female roe deer, but other than that, I don't have any other real life hunting experience.

That’s a great trophy! The high scoring non-predator animals in COTW aren’t really reflective of what you’ll actually find, so in-game silver is still an IRL great trophy

Completely agree! I'm pretty sure only like 5 "Diamond" Sambar have ever been shot in real life in Australia.

Taxing animals and keeping trophies to me is fine as long as it didn’t just die for that alone. Did you save some of the meat? I wonder how Sambar meat compares to Whitetail or Mule deer…I’m from the USA so those are the two I’m familiar with. Edit: nvm. Just finished the video, serves me right for assuming wrong! Much love to you brother! Respect to that beautiful deer whose life and death brought a wonderful bounty and trophy!

Congrats on your sambar Gruntly! Even if it’s been a few years. He’s so beautiful. I like how you said he’s a Diamond to you, I very much agree with that. It’s like my pronghorn, he’s not giant (maybe a gold if I’m lucky but probably silver, I think I’ll measure him!) but the hunt for him and how beautiful he looks, he’ll always be my Diamond pronghorn

I wouldn't have guessed Sambar are that big. Id love to see what my Kudu bull translates to in Cotw but its a Greater Kudu so thats cheating, but i also have a Gemsbok but im not in the mood to take it off the wall 😂

So one, Irl videos let people know you are just that real. It’s a brake from the computer pixel screen and allow you to build rapport that increases views and subs. If you ever make it to the USA I’ll turn you on to some white tail deer and Turkeys. The GF took a 10 pointer last season but it’s nothing as big the that giant you got.
