In 1990 I was 12. I remember it like it was yesterday. We got satellite dish which gave us bunch of music channels. Wind of change came out that year and I kept “blasting” it on little maybe 14-16 inch tv in my room. My dad came in one day and asked me if I was ok? I didn’t get why he was asking. Too young for heart break of any kind. He handed me a mixed TDK tape which had this song on it. Will never forget it. It’s been my favorite Rock ballad for 30 years.

Axel Anders ehh if I remember correctly a few songs were recorded live or some shit, and back in their prime they were pretty consistent in sounding like they do on the album. Nowadays tho, they sound different but after a few throat surgeries Klaus doesn’t sound the same as he used to, and they’re just older now 🤷🏻‍♂️ been around since the 60s since their days with Michael Schenker and Uli etc

Вы слушали их из-за красивейшей музыки, вокала , хорощих текстов песен, общего их таланта и вклада в музыку и культуру или из-за политики??? Задумайтесь! К тому же они всегда были против военных конфликтов, не важно кто учавствует в конфликте будь то Африка или Европа, Азия. ВСЕГДА! Это отражено в их антивоенных песнях "The good die young" - "Лудшие умирают молодыми " "White dove"- "Белый голубь мира " "New generation"- "Новое поколение" "Humanity" - "Человечество " И многих других песнях Они открыто говорили : Не надо воевать, не надо убивать и нести в мир горе. Живите в мире и согласии Когда в начале карьеры им кричали люди: вы немцы фашисты валите отсюда! А они отвечали: прошлое поколение пришло в мир с оружием , а мы новое поколение, мы пришли к вам с музыкой и миром. Они весь мир объехали, где только не были , были в самых кризисных странах охваченых войной и пели, приносили радость людям! Задумайтесь , прежде чем такую ахинею писать "Я не слушаю их потому что они поддерживают Украину " Завтра они Израиль поддержат, Бразилию, Гану, Руанду или ещё какую нибудь страну и выступят против войны и что не слушать их теперь? Глупо же ! До ужаса нелепо и глупо!

@@d.ilyasova Да,я с вами согласна.Тем более, я писала про их песню,а не про их политические взгляды.Я считаю,искусство,музыка- вне политики. А по Украине даже в нашей стране взгляды противоречивы,а не говоря уже про иностранцев.Каждый имеет право думать,как он считает нужным.И вообще,нормальный человек в современном мире должен быть против всяких военных действий.И это правильно!

Love, love how these guys are absolutely enjoying themselves to the fullest degree, smiles a plenty. Refreshing to rewatch this incredible concert, I miss the 80's so, so much. Makes me sad. Scorpions were a staple on Headbanger's Ball. Pretty good reason to stay home Saturday night! Nothing compares to the 70's & 80's, Baby, Rock On!
