Scott Dozier is scheduled to become the first death row inmate in the United States to be executed with the synthetic opioid fentanyl on Wednesday, and he’s fine with that.
“I think it’s awesome. I mean, it’s killing people all over the place,” the convicted murderer said of the drug, in an exclusive interview with VICE News from Ely State Prison in Nevada. “You guys get pharmaceutical grade fentanyl and just bang me up man. Use a shit ton.”

I don't think "banging" him up for one last high is awsome. I think they should have to feel the fear they imposed on victims.

Maybe killing him is'nt the answer for his sins but let him pray and stay alive in the prison for a life time is enough. God forgive all the sinners before he lift into the heaven and welcome those sinners to his gates. So why can't people forgive? Emotions and pain causes satan to be happy and let the people ruined others life, but this all can be minimize and lessen through forgiveness. I wish all government of the world see that death penalty is a embarrassing act that the government itself is a murderer too.

Chris Lee how do you know that God throws people into the hell? Do you see God on what he was doing? God has feelings too, too perfect for us but he keep accepting us. You think that the government is a desendants of God? The peace keeper of God? Let God do the Justice not the government. I'm not complimenting on what Scott done. What if one of the inmate is innocent and frame up by another person, what do you think could happened to the families? Open you're mind man, the world will be chaotic if this act of "Justice" continuous. And God is the only one who could sentence him.

Good for you on being clean. I was for 3 years, now 13 clean. My devil was opioid painkillers (Oxy, Percs, etc.), but I also dabbled with coke and actually smoked it before I ever tooted. The coke I could resist by just not taking that first hit but once I did I couldn't stop, the pills became an everyday need due to the horrendous withdrawal. I was around twice when someone overdosed (they were mixing stuff, I wasn't), both times they were able to be revived, but both times neither remembered any of it. The next day they felt like somebody ran over them and then dragged them down a road for 10 miles, but the experience itself was painless and peaceful. Executing someone with fentanyl would almost certainly be humane, much more so than the experimental cocktails they have now to replace a system that was flawed in the first place.

Falcon Z just because a person is a killer doesn’t automatically make you dislike them . The guy did what he did and if you didn’t know about him and met him you would probably think he’s an ok guy . Not every killer is a monster that should be hated or somebody inhuman . Take the army for example , how many soldiers fighting in war kill people ? Many do yet we respect them. They still kill people . Trust me I have met killers in my lifetime and didn’t automatically dislike them , even after finding out what they did .

RT S that’s how some guys in prison are. After a while they’ve accepted who they are or were and they try to get better even tho it’s already too late. You don’t even notice, hey this guy was a serial killer who dismantled a body cus he’s not portrayed himself as that person anymore. He’s moved on from that life. You never know how short life is or admire it til you’re basically looking death in the face everyday. He knows he’s gonna die so I believe he’s accepted his consequences and bad choices and moved on from that so he can live out the last few years of his life in peace. Rather than living it out and blaming everyone else he accepts that his actions deserve him his consequences. Not everyone makes it to that mentality but there are a few guys in prison who are like that.

You saw a man who recognized he, for whatever reasons, could not step out of the trap he found himself in for his entire life. But, when asked about those he could still feel love for, true love, he was able to leave the trap of his individual identity and wish love unto another.

If I was in Home Depot in line to purchase something, and this guy was next to me, I would NEVER guess he dismembered some one. This dude is one hell of an actor. And......The Oscar goes to Scott Dozier for his performance in Vices "Scott Dozier isn't afraid of being executed with Fentanyl". He's afraid. So afraid, he hung himself. I would have taken the Fentanyl. Then again, I have never chopped someone into pieces either.

A 22-year-old who’s never going to live the rest of their life and grow old! He doesn’t deserve to be talked about in a good way! “If only he’d chosen a different path” well, he didn’t! He destroyed a family and cut all of their lives short as well as his victim’s! I understand he’s dead now, but these comments are just…idk.

I use to use this ahit everyday for about a year, and was a heroin addict for 8 years but when fentanyl came into the picture....fuck...I got clean for 3 months, but relapsed and I blew 1 line and I pretty much died on the spot, but woke up in the back of an ambulance becuz some guy in my neighorhood just happened to be walking his dog by the pool and he saw me face down from falling, had cuts all over me..wouldnt be here if it weren't for that man and his dog....and overdose happened so abruptly I had no recollection of how I ended up at my pool, the fact i use that stuff on a regular basis and survived makes me view life differently, I feel like I have to live the best way I can....stay away from it ppl

"What are you going to miss" is probably one of the goofiest questions, I've ever heard asked to a man, when discussing how he's going to "feel" after he's put to death. I would understand the question, if it was asked before or right after sentencing....

They delayed his execution two weeks because one of the drug makers of his execution cocktail filed some complaint or motion with the Supreme Court because they don’t want their drugs used to purposely kill a human. I’m actually on Fentanyl, 14 years ago I was rear ended at a stop light, the headrest on my Blazer didn’t go high enough to be behind my head so when she rear ended me my head whipped back so far I saw my back window upside down. Destroyed two discs at the bottom of my spine, I go in for my 3rd spine surgery in October this time at Stanford University Medical. The first year after my car accident I couldn’t walk, I stayed in bed and peed myself, had to quit my job at Apple and I haven’t worked since. The only thing that got me walking again and out of bed..... Fentanyl patches.

ItzTheDude Guess you don’t speak English because in my video you can clearly see I am at the correct page to cancel my Prime account and when I pressed the button it said they were having a problem with their server and to try again later. I tried the next day and it worked. I find it funny the server that cancels prime accounts is run on a sever that goes down regularly but the rest of the site is solid 24/7. If you want to see my old ID access card for Apple and my old jobs such as IBM and Intel I can show it to your slow ass.

No. Respiratory depression is not directly linked to dopamine reuptake inhibition in opiates. That's why someone who does h to get a certain high cannot achieve the same high with F without dying. The repsiratory depression is extreme, and you know you're suffocating.

Victor No it shouldnt. Its waste of resources to keep sick people in jail. Nordic system relies on helping inmates to get back to normal life but this doesnt work for people like Breivik (killes 80+ people in Norway). He is kept in jail in separate section, provided own shower, rooms, tv, beds etc. He also is kept away from other inmates. He is most likely going to rot in the jail and die eventually. Why waste all the money until he dies?

prototype8813 The justice system in the US works in a way that it costs immensely more tax payer money to execute rather than put someone behind bars for life. We’re talking up to millions of dollars, most of it in court.
