I like how apparently they all join the league to get back with Ramona but feels like they are just doing it as just a job and don't really mind Ramona's relationship that much.

At least it seems that way with Lucas. In the graphic novel specifically, he calls a truce with Scott for lunch and he explains that he really doesn’t care much about Ramona anymore and offers to throw the fight if Scott gives him all his money, to which then Scott tricks him to do the grind.

Two subtler jokes I don’t think I noticed the first time that slayed me rewatching this scene are the director saying, “And that’s a cut,” and all the stunt doubles having the same voice as Lucas 🤣.
