Scott is a great example of what new producers can really gain from being great musicians. Playing keys, and being able to just in the fly make something is so key. Scott Storch is a real Record Producer as Producer's are like a director in a movie that collaborates with the Vocalist and Engineer in the studio that oversees the entire production of a Song created to its final mix as they build their leverage and reputation by producing records that works with the Vocalist in the studio. If you need to promote and build a fanbase, you are not a real Producer as that's what beat makers do that sell beats on the internet. Scott Storch doesn't sell beats, he produces records.

@@emoshi3712 Ever heard of Neo-Soul? Musiq Soulchild? Scott Storch reffered to the roots as a Hip Hop Jazz group in one of his interviews. You can't knock a true talented keyboardist. He's also self taught. I play keys myself too as I'm former Gospel keyboard player and a Record Producer.
