If its just Manny who is fired...Blake James will be in charge of the next coaching search and we will be right back here in another three years...all starts with the AD who doesn't care about the football program at all.

His mistake was transferring from Houston. If he wanted out after Applewhite then he should have just declared. Instead he went to a Miami team that was not prepared to support him. His raw athleticism shined under the Houston offensive system that was used to his skilled set after he stepped in for Greg Ward Jr. Holgorsen has now turned the program back around after his departure with Clayton Tune, a name no one thought could hold a candle to King. It’s really too bad since I got to watch him shine at UH. Hope he manages to salvage his career.

No. Too small, middling arm strength, minimal accuracy, and significant durability issues. If he gets drafted, I'd be surprised.

Position change, and superb workouts may give him a shot. The injuries, size and pre existing qs about his qb skills will hurt him. I feel bad for him.

Pretty sure you're talking about the highschool highlights right? They're probably from hudl which circles the player before the play. Common practice

Never heard of the man. Sounds like a talent for Euro-league. You must be a Miami fan since you affectionately refer to them as “the Canes” while you cal other teams: Texas, Houston, etc.

My opinion is that he may not want to become a NFL football player. Just because you play College football doesn't mean you have to play in the NFL. I think he may become a coach though.

What's going on with the Miami Hurricanes??? D'Eriq King is lacking the proper coaching. Furthermore, it leads to another issue. It comes down to a program willing to pay $$$$$$, as in real money to get a REAL coach. The administration checked out a long time ago. Athletic Director Blake James has been criticized for years. Alumni are making their voices known, but the powers that be are not willing to execute. Players are the one who are hurting the most. They are not reaching their full potential due to incompetence. Fans are letting the world know that Head Coach Manny Diaz needs to be fired, but no word...
