Nebraska has recruited QBs at a high level recently, but most have not panned out. Luckily Matt Rhule is changing the game and picked up Dylan Raiola, Daniel Kaelin and now 2025 QB TJ Lateef. Today, we will talk about who he is, what he brings to the table and what it means for Nebraska, enjoy!

My take (a Nebraska fan) He was a good get but a developmental project. Need to put some weight on him and by then, he should be ready to hand the reigns to. At minimum though he'll be a capable quarterback right away, something we've hardly seen recently. You talked about their OL, they actually landed OL Grant Brix who was a top 100 in the nation player from Iowa last year, and the Preston Taumua kid they got out of Hawaii is a freak and massively underrated. This year they've raised their bar and are in the running for multiple highly ranked OL prospects, including the 3 big guns from Bishop Gorman (Utu, Alofaituli, and Kalaniuvalu) and the #2 player in the nation David Sanders Raiola overall has helped this culture massively already. He's peer recruiting better than most we've had and has already helped us land a very solid portal class and a 4star RB for 2025 too, Jamarion Parker. He also has us in the running for many top 500 wideouts and with some wins, we could be in prime position for some big flips come the winter Great video though Scott. You explained it pretty well

I like and agree with most of your post. However ....you have to add that we now have a true "Football Guy" staff that understands were not out there to be anybody's friends....were out there to be as physical as the rules allow and beat teams into submission....get them to the point where in the 4th qtr. They are walking around suckin in air, sweating and hands on hips or knees bent over beat....our staff understands that having talent is one thing because your going to get into horse races....but mostly it's tough in yer face football where the strongest, fastest and best conditioned team will prevail...that's what Nebraska was under Coach Osborne and look at our results....we got away from that and looked what happened....we almost sank into oblivion....thank GOD FOR TREV ALBERTS AND MATT RHULE....RHULE AND STAFF HAVE COMPLETELY ADOPTED HOW COACH OSBORNE DID THINGS....and thank God he did....all I will add is it wont be long now !

@@IRONHORSE427RACINGeveryone is physical so i don't see Nebraska being anymore physical than anyone else.. add in the best teams from the west coast and Nebraska has a few years yet.

The description of him does not sound like a program changing player. And downplaying Raiola is insincere as you know he IS the program changing player. TJ redshirts his first year and backs up Raiola in his third and final year.

It reminds me a bit and on a smaller scale of Arch Manning going to Texas when Quinn Ewers was already there and he likely would have to sit out a few years before getting a chance to start. It does not make a while lot of sense to me, but the 18th rated quarterback in the nation is not likely to start for any big time program right away any way, so developing where you feel comfortable makes some sense.

The biggest improvement will be having a big-time, full-time QB coach who isn't splitting time as an OC. All current QBs will benefit and take huge strides this year and TJ will improve even more before his first game. BTW, Purdy's first name rhymes with Bubba (Chuh buh), not Tuba (Chew buh).

3:50 jumping around in high school helped him learn new offences at a faster pace then most and connect with new players faster then most. as for college commitments it dose not matter that he jumped. its a big decision you cant even blame him tbh

The rules are going to get changed soon and players will sign 2 year contracts and the school will pay the players salaries from a 20 million dollar pool as they are trying to diminish the portal and NIL so things aren't so crazy.. Nebraska knew this was coming for awhile now and is prepared.

Whenever I hear a recruit say they’re not afraid to compete, to me that simply means if they don’t win the starting job, they’ll just transfer out.

As a Nebraska fan I am curious to see the Raiola and Kaelin competition play out. Being a not too demanding first 6 games they both should get playing time. Like you I think Danny was underrated being he was from Nebraska. But was in Elite11 and performed at a high level. If Dylan struggles hard and the fan base turns on him I could see him leaving. TJ could have 3yrs as our guy of he accepts a RS or 2yrs if he doesn’t. I think waiting a year or 2 is underrated for today’s QBs.

Yea, I stopped taking you seriously when you said that we haven't had a real superstar since Taylor Martinez...... The QB who was 0-5 in post season competition with multiple NFL talent surrounding him on both sides of the ball. Beat every passing record at a school known for "running" the ball. Then all of those records were eclipsed by the exact QB whom you labeled just "good" after praising Martinez......Tommy Armstrong. I'll finish the video because I want to hear about TJ but, you should probably stick to facts rather than fan fair to start you videos.

What does the Nebraska faithful expect? Osbourne pulled off a miracle having as much success as he did a community college in a truck stop town. Without 150 walk ons and partial qualifiers, Fat Rhule will never be able to replicate it.

Look Dylan Was a 5 star recruit and the greatest thing since sliced bread until he dropped UGA and came where his heart is Nebraska....then all of a sudden he drops in talent level but as long as he stayed with Georgia he was the five star savior?.....T.J. would have easily become a 5 star this fall at his highschool (he was almost a 5 star to begin with) but now you watch....he will either stay a 4 star or some more biased places will drop him to a high 3 star just because he chose to wear the N ! THIS IS COMPLETE NONSENSE....I HAVE NEVER TRUSTED "Star" ratings anyway but they had become halfway trustworthy a few years back but now with all the NIL malarkey.....it's a huge joke....I will put stars by their name after they get to Nebraska and show me and the rest of the fan base they are real Nebraska Football Players... understand just to be a Nebraska Cornhusker says alot..mostly about what your made of.....not just anybody can say their a HUSKER because you have to be a dedicated special kind of tough....think Big SUH....he is all about what it is to be Husker because you see our colors do not run....when we get cut we bleed Husker Red....and when we die.....we are HUSKER DEAD !
