One week after the Masters, the PGA TOUR heads to South Carolina for the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links. This is the fifth of eight Signature Events in the season. Scottie Scheffler returns to the field this week, despite being fresh off a victory at the Masters. The world No. 1 has not shot an over-par round all season and has three victories (and one runner-up) so far in 2024. He made his debut at Harbour Town last year and finished T11. Matt Fitzpatrick looks to become the first golfer to go back-to-back at the RBC Heritage since Boo Weekley in 2007-08. Fitzpatrick, a playoff victor last year, has two top-10 finishes this season. He has just one missed cut at Harbour Town over the last six years. Ludvig Åberg will also be in South Carolina this week after his impressive second place finish in his Masters debut. He has four top-10s (including two runner-up results) so far this season and is knocking on the door for a victory. Others to look out for this week are Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Hideki Matsuyama and Viktor Hovland.

Ya. Its always a good one back nine Sunday. Way too easy for these guys, but makes the last group need birdies to win.

Scottie is doing what Spieth did in 2015 - 2017. I just hope he can continue and not fade away like Spieth did.

I'm tired of people talking about his foot "work". he's not working on anything with his feet. it's not like he's practicing foot work. He's just letting his body react and move out of the way of his swing. Probably due to mobility limitations and stuff. can't we focus on like how he plays golf so amazingly? who care's what his damn foot does haha.
@Rude.Nico8
@Rude.Nico8 Ай бұрын
I’m with you. My front foot turns outward after impact because my hips aren’t flexible enough to keep both feet planted. It just is what it is. People just love to point out anything unorthodox, especially if it’s working as well as it is for him😂

Small item. Just a quick acknowledgment of crowd appreciation with grab of hat bill or small wave. Don’t wait till the 18th and a total win to do it.
@JoelHoover
@JoelHoover Ай бұрын
Then you must have missed his round today because he was doing a lot of crowd acknowledging and even responding. He actually apologized after The Masters for keeping his head down so much in the midst of when he plays, but it clearly works for him to stay focused. *EDIT: Actually, you must not have even watched the video because you can clearly see him do it a few times!

@@JoelHoover i watched the entire Sunday round. Not once until after the final putt on 18. You could even notice the commentators having to avoid saying something about. Even stoic Tiger will occasionally acknowledge while remaining focused. If it the only way to maintain focus and win, then he must employ it. He did reveal at the end that he is a good man.
