@Ricky Bustos they break easy only if you buy fake aovo. And how come brakes only work if battery charged if rear brake is disc brake?

@Ricky Bustos chill man, my brakes works, I don't even use front brake just to save the battery, rear disc brake does the job. Of course you can die if you ride full speed on them, no brakes will stop the scooter if you go 31km/h. I've limited mine to 20km/h and it's more than enough for me.

I purchased mine second hand and there was lots of play in the locking mechanism, rattling whilst riding. Ended up winding out that little metal ball a little and it seems to have solved the issue 👍🏻

I've just inboxed my Aovo. Obviously I need to charge it but should it already power-up straight from the box for test purpose? When I hold the power button for the 5 seconds the label recommends its lifeless

Ok so just got the scooter. No defects at all runs smooth. I ordered a type A which is a returned but new scooter. That's why mine came with the screen lightly damaged on the side but I am happy because I got it for 200. Anyway I am surprised to know it goes as fast as 60km per hour!

Bonjour Jav K , j ' ai eut le même problème , il faut viser les vis une par une seulement de 2ou 3 tours chacune en les croisant et profiter du jeux pour les placer correctement en face des trous ensuite les serrer progressivement jusqu'au blocage . 😉

Thanks for the video Scott. I've purchased 2 es80. What I've found is motor is not enough powerful for me because I'm 95kg. So it stops even with very moderate climbs. Is that normal? Do you really feel higher power vs. the 250W model? Thanks

I have a different brand called SKYWALKER, which is pretty similar. However my part which helps it lock in place where it folds seems to have come loose. Or at least it feels really loose and shakes when I ride. Anybody know how to fix ?

There is a mechanical rear brake and electronic regen braking. The clip on the bars is part of the folding mechanism which locks the scooter so it can be carried and transported. Did you subscribe to the channel???

@@ScottJonesMTB I've heard the range you get from an E V is significantly half of what is stated on the box. Specifically E-Scooter. If it says 27km range you're getting 13.5km.

Hey Scott, i just got the same scooter and feels amazing, but i did 7km (1.5km + 5.5km) on my town and the battery drop to 50%. I used sport mode at 30km(19miles) same settings as yours. Does the slow mode make more miles? Thanks

I haven’t done a range test on the ES80 but did one on the previous model (on my channel). I got 10 miles approx in Eco - about 15mph if I remember.

Was it on a flat surface or uphill? Uphill with a heavy load uses up battery more quickly. I get around 20 klms on my scooter, going slightly uphill on slow mode cruise control - which I find is the best for my situation. I am no lightweight either.

Never had this problem but you can adjust the brake using the adjusters on the lever.

Hey, so like, the handlebar isn't going in because there's two wires in the hole that the handle is supposed to go in...I don't want to force it in because they might cut open....What do I do?

Carefully ensure that the wires don’t get trapped when you place the bars on.

Hi Scott, my scooter is about 2 years old now. I need help understanding what’s happening on the dash panel of the scooter while I’m riding it. There is a hill that my scooter doesn’t like… when I get to the top of the hill the scooter shuts off despite being almost fully charged. I imagine it’s an overheating issue related to the hill being too much. What metric should I be looking at on the electric panel to tell me not to push the scooter so hard? (I could always just hop off and walk up the hill). I’ll video the panel one day while I’m going up the hill. (Then I get stuck walking 20 minutes to home.)

Not done a range test yet. Battery is 3 to 4 hours to charge.

Hello mate I've has the same problem I ordered it on Friday and its says its coming from Germany and its now Wednesday and hasn't arrived should I be worried

Hey I just received mine today and rode it straight out the box. I seemed to have a problem with the folding mechanism, while riding it came undone, basically folded while riding and something bad could’ve happened. I’m not sure but it seemed to me like the plastic in the folding mechanism was weak. I took it to an auto shop near by, the mechanic put a little pressure and i was allowed to lock it standing again and ride home safely, but to be safe it wouldn’t come undone again I put a zip tie on it which prevented it from folding. Any tips?

Where did you order from? You may have a device in the house (radio etc) that has a 3 pin that you can swap the cable on? UK shipments have a 3 pin plug from AOVOPRO..COM

Good video but I got this scooter anf I’m 14 it came with the back plastic snapped and a few days later when I went over a numb the rear mudguard snapped as with my friends aswell just keep in mind. Overall a good scooter but it’s quite flimsy

Will it harm the battery if it's left on while charging? It's not mentioned in the manual. Got mine up to 19mph and nearly 11 miles range. It's still over %50

Don’t leave it on for months. Use the scooter and charge regularly.

They are illegal to use in the UK. Some police forces are more relaxed. Some seem to taking a hard line. A change in the law is due to take place in the UK shortly on PEVs.
