Robert Lane Saget (May 17, 1956 - January 9, 2022) (Bob Saget) was an American stand-up comedian, actor, and television host. From 1987 to 1995, Saget played Danny Tanner on the ABC sitcom Full House, and reprised the role for its Netflix sequel Fuller House (2016-2020). He additionally was the original host of America's Funniest Home Videos (1989-1997), and the voice of narrator Ted Mosby on the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother (2005-2014).
Saget was also known for his adult-oriented stand-up comedy, and his 2014 album That's What I'm Talkin' About was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album.
On January 9, 2022, at about 4 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST), Saget was found unresponsive in his room at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, south of Orlando, Florida, near Williamsburg. He had missed his scheduled checkout time, and family members became concerned after being unable to contact him. Emergency responders pronounced Saget dead at the scene; he was 65 years old. No cause of death was immediately announced, though foul play and drug use were ruled out by the sheriff and the medical examiner. At the time of his death, Saget was on a stand-up tour, and had performed in Ponte Vedra Beach the previous evening.
An autopsy report was released on February 9, 2022, and found that Saget had blunt head trauma from an accidental blow to the back of his head, likely from a fall, and subsequently died from the resulting injuries (subdural hematoma and subarachnoid hemorrhage) in his sleep. At the time of his death, he was COVID-19 positive, though there were no signs of inflammation. On February 15, 2022, Saget's family sued to prevent county officials from releasing additional documents from the investigation of his death, arguing that their graphic content would present privacy violations; a permanent injunction was issued against their release on March 14.
News of Saget's death broke during a broadcast of America's Funniest Home Videos in the Eastern and Central time zones, and ABC interrupted the program to announce it. A tribute video was posted on the show's official KZfaq channel, and a dedication to Saget was added before the credits of the following episode.
Saget had been honored with donations and offers to help the charity Scleroderma Research Foundation (SRF), whose board of directors Saget served on since 2003. According to a statement made by the foundation's executive director on January 13, 2022, the foundation has received donations from more than 1,500 donors from all over the world, totaling more than $90,000. Additionally, a donation of $1.5 million was awarded to the charity by one of its board members in the form of a grant, which will match every donation made in memory of Saget.
Saget's funeral took place on January 14, 2022. He was buried at Mount Sinai Memorial Park Cemetery near the graves of his parents and sister.

My dad’s cousin from LA knew Bob Saget personally. I was never a fan of him but my little sister loved Full House growing up and a couple years ago he mailed her a signed photo for her birthday, her reaction was amazing. Never met Bob but he seemed like a really solid guy. RIP🕊️

R.I.P Bob Saget, He Will Be Forever To Me As Danny Tanner From Full/Fuller House. I Know He Has Done Some Other Things, But Danny Tanner Is Who I Know Him As Best. I Loved Him, He Always Had This Genuine, Kind Personality. And Always Had Great Advice As Danny To His Daughters On The Show. He'll Never Be Forgotten & He'll Be Def Missed By All Who Has Been Touched By His Love, His Art, & His Passions That He Cared About!! - Thank You Scott For Going Back To See & Film This!

My wife and I had tickets to see him again last year at the Keswick Theater outside of Philly, where we live, but sadly he passed before the show date. Saw him there a few years ago and had pit tickets- he joked with us because we were of age for him to identify with us as our favorite TV dad. He was so funny. He was NOT "raunchy" as people said he was. Another great video brother! Ever in the Philly area - I would love to meet you. My eldest son is in 7th grade and loves your videos also! Thanks for sharing. Always so interesting to watch while you’re so respectful. In regards to headstones, here in Delaware, when my brother suddenly passed in March, we were told that we needed to wait at least six months to put a stone at the grave for the site to settle, etc I’m sure that’s different around states and cemeteries

I love Cemeteries because i love arts thou and it varieties of manifestations , as an artist i am , as a tattoo designer my official profissional occupation , as a film student and a gothic tale's author ...I've never understood why the art presents in cemeteries was putted in the corner of what is beautiful to see , Death's aesthetic designers as i usually say have a great sensibility to see and feel things that most of us only feel in the moment in which we lost someone we love to the Death ...These artists have a soul completelly full to comitment in to give some comfort to the world to the passed away's relatives without needing to say one only word , these artists give their hands to help in this so much hard moment of everyone's life by the way they see the Death , not with afraiding eyes but with comtempling eyes , respectful eyes , these artists give to us all by the hands of their artistic contribution , a reason to believe that maybe there's something more over the gates of this world we can touch , smelling , tasting and feeling yet maybe there's something more we can ( we need ) believe that when we are buried , when our bodies are buried that it was only a station and someday everybody just needs to land out of this train .... There should be no niche in art, art is art no matter if it's made to adorn churches, palaces or cemeteries...Cemeteries are a stage for art as much as other stages out there... Because cemeteries are portals, the only places on Earth where we can really get closer to God and finitude, not even churches are places as powerful as the places that will serve as the last abode for what once housed the human soul, our mortal remains... I never particularly understood the caveat that certain people have about dealing or talking about death, after all the sooner we get used to the idea that one day we will be the ones to die , the less difficult it will be for us when the last time comes ... I usually say, although it seems morbid, that I don't have problems with death, no, what causes me fear and a certain strangeness is the lack of certainty and constancy of where the paths of life will still take me , how many times will I fall and get hurt , how many evils will I still be subject to during my walk , if I'll be able to fulfill my purpose even in the face of all difficulties... No, dying doesn't scare me, but being dead in life does... Really dying doesn't scare me , because this is the only certainty that we bring with us since we left our mothers' bellies , the rest are just pseudo-certainties, fleeting and invented so that we can feel more in control of ourselves and in control of a situation we don't have no control...Life .

Hi Scott. Beautiful scenery and amazing to see rain in Los Angeles. Never once have I ever experienced rain and floods in LA. Rainy season from October to February and 36 days a year but it's amazing to see so much rain in one go. England gets so much rain but it was hot this year. I spent 4 months in Canada in 1989 with the Grenadier Guards and I stayed and trained in a place called Medicine Hat in Alberta. I loved Calgary. Canada is so beautiful. Take care bud. Can't wait to see your upcoming videos and you have earned a good rest back home in Canada.

Bob was an outstanding comedian. Regarding the rocks being left at the grave, you also charge the rock with your energy depending on how ling you carry it around. You are essentially leaving a small amount of yourself at the grave via the rock if you choose to see it from a energy perspective. Great video!

Funny how everyone who doesn’t live in the L.A. area are blown away when it’s raining and cold. We definitely get colder weather in the winter but what is different is, it’s normal to also have days of 70-80 degrees F. as well. We have damp cold m which is why it seems so brutal, compared to snow country. And that’s your meteorological lesson of the day. Come back tomorrow where we talk about the clouds.😎 On a more serious note, I’m glad you did this one. Bob was certainly an amazing actor and I’m glad that I was able to watch this.
