I am 62 years old, during my life I cannot remember anytime "WHO" was our president really effected my life. Regardless of party, just hasn't been that big of a factor. Trump is the only president that i can remember that has caused such decisiveness in our country. Its sad and I worry about what the young people of today must think about the world we live in.

Born in '58 I presume so I'd buy not remembering but you don't think the Vietnam era would've worked out at all differently had it not been Johnson in office? Would we have been back in Iraq had it been Gore instead of Bush in 2003? Would the "Patriot Act" even exist? Whether you can pick something specific that affected you personally your life is impacted by the events that happen around you as a result of who is in that office by virtue of those events impacting people who impact people until eventually it indirectly impacts you.

I’m a Texan and I DID NOT vote for Trump on November 3rd....what I want to remind Mr. Paxton of is there was an almost equal number of votes against Trump and for Joe Biden, so it would be kinda dumb to start a war with the country when we are so close to tearing ourselves apart as a State. I love the State of Texas. My late father in law was born and raised there. I have always loved visiting my husband's relatives there. If there is one thing I know about Texas is that there are many different kinds of people living there. Not all are Republicans and not all are for Trump.

For the folks whining about states changing election rules without the legislators, those legislators has time to complain about the changes prior to the election. The judges in Georgia specifically stated that if there was an issue with the agreed upon changes, an objection should have been offered at that time, not wait until after your guy lost.

The reason SCOTUS will throw out the Texas lawsuit is the issue of standing, the 🐘 in the room (snicker). The state of Texas cannot prove any injury to them caused by the election laws of another state. As an aside, the issue of standing is what sank Proposition 8 here in CA. The proponents of Prop 8 could not show they were injured in any way by LGBTQ+ people getting married.
