i love scourge as a character no matter how he was made, he should be added into a series

I love that Ian took the fact that Anti-Sonic was "just Sonic but bad", and actually made that a core factor of his motiviations for everything he does. He's tired of just being "the bad Sonic" and gives himself a new name, but doesn't stop there, and gives his entire world a new name, as well as the rest of the Anti-Freedom Fighters (renamed Supression Squad), giving them their own identities. Then he turns the whole "just Sonic but bad" thing on its head and tells Sonic that he's just one bad day from becoming just like him. The comics also showed Scourge, for all his grandstanding, was far more vulnerable than he let on. A scolding from Jules actually hit him and caused him to cry, and after spending time in the Zone Prison and being the prison bi**h, his spirit is broken and he just wants to keep his head down to avoid more trouble, actually becoming angry when Fiona arrives to try to bust him out.

Imagine Scourge got to meet fleeway sonic that's essentially meeting himself but if his self was good

My theory is that Finitevus knew the Super Genesis Wave was coming, and he had a plan to ensure that he, Scourge, and Fiona were recreated, which got a little thrown off due to a combination of factors and they ended up being imperfectly reborn in the IDW continuity as Starline, Surge, and Kit. Granted, the only similarity between Fiona and Kit is that they're foxes...

They should canonically make Scourge the main rival/villain to Sonic because Scourge had one of the best Character Development in the whole Sonic Franchise. His transition from being an evil sonic to being his self that he is not just a sonic who is bad but scourge with motives from experience (Like how he gained control of his dimension). Also For Shadow to still be the rival of Sonic is just not there anymore. Shadow is basically Sasuke now. Lastly, Scourge is also one of those who has Super mode like the Big 3 Hedgehogs.

I know Penders didn't create Scourge, but did he really copyright Evil Sonic? How the fuck can he do that? If I just put sunglasses and a leather jacket on Mario, I couldn't copyright "Evil Mario" as my own original character.

Scrouge instantly became my favourite sonic character ever after finding the archie comics as a kid

Anti-sonic' s design gets a lot of flak But in comparison to other Evil MC versions he looks more different with the glasses and Jacket Most tend to be dark/purple palette swaps of the OG

Imo since Ian Flynn is now writing the games as well he should just go to court with Penders he can keep all of his characters except Scourge and have him as a villain since Eggman has been the only villain in the series now so having Scourge back would be a fresh start and could make a very interesting plot of sonic (or Scourge) collecting memory tokens so Sonic can remember the pre-SGW era

One of my favorite examples of antiverse characters / I still want to see the adventures of scourge in the antiverse dealing with the counterparts of other characters

Funny enough sonic archie issue 193 was the first sonic comic I ever read. I think I was like 8 I thought it was one of the coolest things I’ve seen.

I love Scourge as a character!! He shows Sonic as the worst person he could possibly become, like using his abilities for his own selfish gain instead of helping people, his cockiness twisting into egomania, and his rebellious nature making him obsessed with anarchy and chaos. Scourge is aware that he’s just a “Saturday cartoon villain” character and not a serious threat, and everything he does is in pursuit of trying to prove he’s something more than that. His inferiority complex and need to prove himself ultimately leads to his own downfall and he only has himself to blame. It seems that Surge has kind of taken this role, and while I think she’s doing a great job as a Sonic foil, I’ll always have a soft spot for the classics.

when i found out that scourge was erased i genuinely cried, i love his character so much and I'm so sad to see him erased, ik it's stupid to cry over and the genesis wave happened years ago but i still love scourge, he's so cool.. I'm so sad :(

Fun fact: the world wasn't always called Moebius. After the events of Knuckles Enerjak transformation, Scourge and Fiona returned to their Mobius, conquered it, and Scourge changed his world's name to Moebius as one things to alter his world from the prime Mobius alongside with forcing the suppression squad to undergo changes to make them deadlier and suppressing the urge to rebel. These included Boomer altering himself with robotics and Scourge tearing out Patch's eye respectively.

Just pointing out that all the backstory, including the name Moebius, wasn't created until many years later, _after_ the character turned green.

If there was a story reason of everyone remembering the events before the super genesis wave here is what it would be. Let me introduce you to an ideal sonic oc i created his name is genesis the hedgehog aka mr g (i picked the name genesis because of the name being a homage to the sega genesis) his appearance would be a grey hedgehog with green eyes but he would hide his identity for story reasons il mentioned later and his disguise is a black metallic mask similar to zeros mask from zero escape 999 and a black cloak similar to chris Redfields coat from resident evil 8. Abilities crossing through different sonic universe's, healing abilities stoping time like dio from jojo part 3 and going back in time. His backstory is that he originated in the game universe and he was sonics oldest brother and he was Gerald robotniks assistant and he was very close to maria and he gave his dna to the black arms to make shadow. He experimented with both dnas which made a cure for marias disease but he needed to test it out and so he injects the disease on himself and drinked the cure proving it worked but then g.u.n came and killed maria making genesis go on a demonic rage but maria told genesis not to kill anyone and then g.u.n soldiers shot genesis but it turns out that the cure turns people immortal so he took many samples of the cure with him and left the ark going back to mobius. He was also freinds with cream the rabbits father and my reason he is not in the games was that genesis was being hunted down by the dark brotherhood from sonic chronicles because they sense a power in genesis and he didn't want creams father to get involved so he sent him far away from mobius so that they dont harm him. Anyway genesis gets cornered by the dark brotherhood so he jumped of a cliff faking his death but he gets trapped in a cave but then he discovered that he has the power to cross through the different sonic universe's and so he left and ended up in the archie universe while fiona the fox was captured by robotnik and he also got captured by robotnik and was transported to the same prision as her and they became very close freinds untill genesis was sent to public execution and people including fiona assumed he died but thanks to being immortal he faked his death leaving the universe. He then meets extra life sonic from the fleetway universe and mecha sonic from the game universe and redeemed them both which they both join him. Now you might be wondering how is related to bringing back the events of the pre super genesis wave well by some accident he came back to the archie universe and he went back in time to stop the super genesis wave from even happening and then scourge and fiona came in and when genesis (wearing the mask and coat) he was angry at scourge for making her like this and so he goes on a quest with extra life sonic and mecha sonic to help redeem fiona and scourge from taking over the multiverse.

It would be nice,if Scourge back, but at the moment I advice to read “Scourge: eternal blackout”.
