The 'Bombed out church' that survived the Blitz from the Nazis. My mother from Anfield was evacuated to North Wales thankfully. Great video as always.

Yes you’re right , & the church is now being used as a venue for different social events , like weddings,cinema & food & drink … Glad your Mum was evacuated to safety it must’ve been a hard time for everyone - Anfield’s changed so much now , your Mum wouldn’t recognise lots of it now - Thank you for watching & taking the time to send us your comment - it means a lot to both of us ❤️👍x

Thanks for your many videos! This Yank hasn't been to Liverpool since '83. So much has changed. Bold St. remains pretty much the same as I remember it....at least the architecture. Would love to see the area around White Chapel, especially the corner where Rushworth's music house used to stand. Tara!

Many thanks for Maggie May’s review. Had coffee and cake but no scours fir some time. Colin’s bowl looked a little shallow and no thick enough in texture. Always enjoy you reviews and are very handy when you feel hungry for food 🥘 🤪🤪

Hi Peter, yes it wasn’t a very big portion but in some ways I’m thankful for that 🤔 as it was quite void of meat & flavour … the cakes did look good though but we a little scared to try them after the Scouse …🥴 Glad you’re enjoying our videos it means a lot to both of us 👍❤️

I love Chilli Con carne, I follow the BBC recipe omitting the dark chocolate. I use a tin of mixed beans rather than just kidney beans, 5% ASDA mince...Highly recommended 😋😊

Yes so do we … I’ve not tried that recipe but I will check it out 👍 I make a beef Chilli that has a lot of ingredients including a can of Guinness- might make a video of it for St.Patrick’s day 🤔🤔🤔
