We are having Fish and Chips again, but this time we are back in Liverpool and we are at the Lobster Pot, a famous chippy for many a year in our home town of Liverpool, but is it the same after all these years, we are here to find out.

Hi guys 🙋🏻‍♀️it looks a right let down ☹️floppy undercooked batter and as for the sweet and sour chicken it should have been crispy but even if the sauce was separate I recon it still would have been soggy ☹️it a shame how things change from one visit to the next. Yes you’re right Geraldine , the batter was too thick on the fish & chicken so it makes it soggy on the inside … not good at all 👎🏻 It is a shame because we used to really enjoy fish chips peas & gravy from here 😢 Have a great weekend ❤️❤️ xx

You're the real ones! ❤️ I think I'm gonna have to go to Byrnes after all, right? 😅 Hopefully I can figure out Liverpool's public transport and make my way to the best chippy in Liverpool 🐟 I was wondering though, have you tried Yanni's fish and chips? I was looking on Google Maps and they have good reviews. Anyways, thank you again for the shout-out and for giving us amazing content ❤️

I think it’s going to be hard to find a good fish and chip shop as you did when you were coming back from Scotland. I think you scored it right . The sweet and sour chicken and rice didn’t to me look ver appetising at all. The polystyrene containers put me off as well. Good honest review as always . I read a comment once which I agreed with. Fish and Chip shops should only do Fish and Chip type Fayre and not Kebabs or Chinese food and that stands for the other style of restaurants. Controversial?

Yes it’s probably better if they stick to just one type … but if they do a good job at the other types of food then why not give it a go …? The Chinese style chippy has been doing this for a while especially here in Liverpool ❤️ Thanks for watching ❤️👍🏻

Sorry you had a disappointing meal at place you have known for a long time. It seem that perhaps the Lobster Pot need to rethink the batter and their technique for both the fish and the chicken but what do I know, I don't eat fish or chicken! Lately I've noticed the sizes have gone smaller As for the taste I usually use the free sauce they provide When I saw you the other day it was covered in chilli and ketchup 🤣🤣

Thanks for your vlog guys. Past this place loads of times and always wondered what the foods is like. I love gravy and was wondering if you have a faviorate chippy for mushy peas and gravy. Usually end up making my own at home 🤗🤗🤗

Hi Pat, Archie’s might be a good place to take a girly girl … the decor is a pretty pink & the food is quite good for a fast food company … the chicken & waffles were really good & we can recommend the shakes too … take a look at their online menu … ? Hope this helps xx
