They have to be placed a certain distance from objectives. I do really like them, but on an open board in my experience so far the enemy can run around them. But it certainly slows them down On into the dark they get wayyyy better

@@MisterF946 You're thinking about the booby trap. The trip mine can be placed anywhere as long as it's more than 6" from your opponent's dropzone. Putting it on a centerline/mid objective against elites makes them want to avoid that objective unless there's a safe way to cap that objective even while on engage

3:46 suspensor system is 3EP not 4 :) So if you want you can sometimes swap krak for 2x 2EP blade on gunners and its fun :D

Using this terrain as open world terrain 10/10, get weird with it! I always wanted to play a two vs two game on a bigger board with the into the dark terrain being used as a large building that you can maneuver through in the middle of it.

dice do be dice. I thought it would be harder to read the dice but atleast with these sets it's good! also, not a scout fan per se but they are growing on me! the heavies with their double shot stand (jojo reference??) got me excited.

Did you use the core rules (round up) or bheta decima rules (round down) for climbing when using bheta decima terrain in an open map? Also did you use the bheta decima rule where operatives cannot be shot through the gantries?

In the first turn how does p1 work because I play karskin with their elimination pattern ploy it says for a crit apply P whatever and I didn’t quite understand how it worked in the video

You should read the appendix at the back of the rulebook, all the special rules are explained there. P1 menas that if you roll at least 1 crit, the entire attack has AP1 (i.e. reduce your opponents defence dice by one)

i never understood why people consider -1 damage reduction is any good. 90% of the guns in this game do 3 base damage anyway, from my experience it never really makes diffrence

Depends, necrons and tau are 4/5. Heaps of melee is base 4 damage. Shotguns base 4. Now instead of 3 hits killing, you need 4. Makes a big difference, especially in melee where that might mean your opponent gets to hit back again (e.g. damage reduction saved the shrivetalon from being dead earlier)

Yeah, the Bheta Decima terrain is okay on open, but I don’t think it’s good enough to justify buying another set of KT terrain. If it ever becomes available again anyway. Just not that hyped for season three, maybe it’s KT overload or maybe I’m distracted by The Old World.

Veterans really is a feel bad one. The requirements are so hard that you never use it, so that one time you can you feel bad about your roll AND bad that you forgot it exists.
