Trailmater Offroad Recovery

Trailmater Offroad Recovery

Жыл бұрын

We went out on the beginning of Steelbender Trail to scout a job for a wrecked truck in a ravine. Then we decided to try some techniques from the comment section about how to transport a motorcycle. Then we went over to our friend Larry's house to help him move his cars back from the flood area of the creek by his house. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

Note to self ... when you pay 80K for a 4x4 pickup and your salesman tells you it will go anywhere, don't listen to him unless you watch 20+ of these videos.

What's up Rory and team Trail Mater? Love your content creation and your videos never disappoint. As for these armchair "off-road recovery experts" and their opinions, you should know that they are worthless. It seems like people forget that it is your business/channel and that you are the professional who actually goes into the field and does this numerous times daily and therefore their "expertise" should be rendered useless. Keep up the amazing content!

Regarding the motorcycle rescue options - I own two motorcycles, I scratch them up a little bit off road, but if I had to get rescued like in the video you were referencing, I would want the bike on a trailer just like you did. Trying to hang it off of the tow truck boom is going to leave many permanent marks. You've done a good job of proving your point.

A bike rack sounds like a good plan in theory, if you are big on theories. Far too many different bikes out there and one size doesn't fit all. The trailer works good for all bikes so keep doing what works. No damage to a customer's vehicle is every recovery drivers way of doing things, because who needs a hit on the insurance for repairs & the the bad reputation that you get. Thanks for sharing

Rory: Once again arm chair recovery folks have NO CLUE when it comes to doing your job! You are the best driver I have ever seen, especially with TrailMater. I have seen you do some pretty spectacular things and go some places the Scrambler has to struggle with. Awesome! Besides, do they think you would purposely beat up your equipment if there was a better alternative? Professionals DO NOT do that! Let's see their resume for recovery! BS talks, professionalism walks! Thanks for what you do. We all learn lessons every time you go on a recovery. Keep up the great work!!! You have an awesome Team!!!

Your driving and rescue skills never fail to amaze me, and I have nothing but disdain for the people that tell you your doing it wrong. You have just a “Little” more experience doing your profession, and should completely disregard and ignore the people that criticize and then offer their worthless opinions. You, Mike, and Sean have the absolute best video’s on KZfaq, and have NEVER seen anything that I think you have done for sensationalism. I am glad you read the comments, and have shown them that their comments are not well thought through 😅😊😊😅

On our combo wreckers, we pick the bike up the same way you did with the boom and then set the wheels on the cross bar (same as big d) and use a small strap on each wheel to the cross bar and pull a little tension with winch. You could build a T bar that goes into tour receiver hitch to do the same
