Correction: a sack of self-multiplying potatoes that leads to an alternate reality where the potatoes got so out of control that all non-solid spaces in the universe have potatoes in them now. That was an end-of-the-universe scenario for someone else.

What could go wrong? Well the memetic agents could stop working on you allowing you to notice just how compromised every single Site is with invisible puppet-masters who are definitely not human. Er...I mean irradiated ham sandwich. That's what could go wrong. It's been a reoccurring problem. @@beatmeat4508 ok so I looked into it out of curiosity, the large boom in the 3000s was not due to trying to be special but instead due to the Doomsday Contest which resulted in a large boom in that factor. I can't say the same about the 4000s though.

My favorite for some reason is the SK-Class Dominance shift. The idea of someone or something completely rewriting the food chain, and dethroning humanity as the dominant species, is actually kinda scary. Everything’s more fun when you’re in charge.
