A lot of people just throw away their scrap thread, and I have no idea why because they are so useful! OMG! Thank you for all the likes!

I have a "rule" where if the scraps are under about 10 inches or so, I throw them out. One: because I don't make many alphas, and two if I didn't do that I would have a bunch of 7 inch pieces I can't do anything with.

@@calliphoenix5425 yeah you can use those shorter pieces to make tiny chevron keyrings though? I dont like to waste any thread if I don't have to really.

you can also use scrap floss to stuff things, pillows, plushies, ect. I use yarn trimmings alot when stuffing things i've knitted or crochet.

Before I would throw my thread away thinking “hmm should I save the thread and get my money’s worth? Nahh I wouldn’t use it it’s too short” but now I’m going to save my thread thanks for making this video very helpful!😁

My scrap thread collection is huge!! I don’t think I will ever get to using it all, because I get more scrap thread every bracelet I make, even ones I use scrap thread for!!

I do kumihimo. I don't end up with a lot of scrap string. I found I typically have scrap string on the flat braid style. But the excess can be used to make a round style cord.

you could if you wanted to store them on index cards like cut the index card to fit a bobbin and rap the thread around it

hey masha! i was wondering if you're ever gonna make a video showing us how to make the other alpha triangle ends? i believe it was the first question asked in the first bracelet helpline video. i've been wondering how to do it and i don't think i'm doing it correctly. a video on how to do it would be really helpful 💞

And then there's me who just.. doesn't have much scrap thread?😂 I don't know I guess I'm kinda good at estimating how long my strings need to be so when I cut the rest off it's usually 15 cm max🤔 and those get reused in my alphas all the time so my little scrap thread ball doesn't really grow in size🤷🏼‍♀️ am I the only one?😅
