I have tried so many glues, from Tombow, to Tonic, Craft Tacky Glue from SSS, Hero Arts... and they are all good at the beginning but then they either thicken up and get all gloopy, or the nozzles get so clogged you can't unclog them, and even though I clean them carefully some glue particles just get stuck and no pin or soak in hot water will shift them - especially hard with the fine tips, they usually end up getting bent or broken because I can't push anything through to clean them. At the moment I am using the Glitter Art Glue. I like it and I think it is on a par with the Bearly Art glue. The trouble is getting it in from the US - they won't ship it in winter because it freezes, which means you have to stock up just in case, or use something else until you run out. I am like you and prefer one stop shopping, especially with shipping costs to where I live, so will definitely check out the Scrapbook Artis Glue and see what it is like. Thanks!

Thanks for this video, Jess - it was helpful to see these 2 glues compared. I’ve also been using Bearly Art (but only for 1.5 years) and just bought the Artis because it was on sale & I wanted to try it.

Drying matte is important to me for any that sneaks out from under. I like the fast dry option of Bearly Arts glue also. Thanks for the review.

Looking for a good glue and what turned me off to the artis glue is the shine when it dries but it does have good reviews. Thank you for sharing your findings, very helpful.

Hi Jess, I think there is also the point of temperature when delivering...Idk about the other glue but B.A.G. doesn't have any issues when shipping in differing hot or cold temps. Thank you for tutorials!

I've had a refill for bearly art glue last for more than 2 years. Great comparison! I laughed about you watching glue dry for us. I don't use tape, so I use a lot of liquid glue. I've switched to lineco ph neutral pva glue.

Thank you. I use different glues sometimes I need fast grab, sometimes I need mote time. Some glues are too wet & dry hard making the page rigid. Nice to know regarding smell. I juxt wondered if you’ve tried it on thin open die cuts, like delicate lacy things & scripty word dies, that need layers? The kind you put glue on the back of your hand & dab the die cut over ? Some glues are too thick & don’t work well. I haven’t used either of your glues, but always scouting. Thanks for your video.

I'm a bearly arts glue fan. The only issue I've ever found a teeny bit troublesome is that the big refill - the one shaped like a bear - can be challenging to get emptied into the 2 ounce bottle, which is my bottle size of choice. I tried pretty much everything else out there before settling on Bearly Arts.

Solid video! 😎 I finally bought Bearly Arts glue, then didn’t use it for months. Is it always so runny upon opening? Does it thicken over time, or do I need to shake it? Thanks!

I bought a small bottle to try, as well, and it is SUPER runny, almost like milk or cream. I haven’t ever actually used it because it just wets the paper. That was over a year ago, and every once in a while I try it again, but it’s always the same. Should have returned it. I’m a big fan of both Tonic’s Nuvo Deluxe glue and Art Glitter Glue.

I buy cheap glue and fill my tiny tip bottle with it. Works good for me.

I can never get cheap glue to work on my paper art. It wrinkles and buckles, and I use so little, too. The cheap stuff has more water in it as opposed to ones made for paper arts. That's awesome you have the right hand for it. I sure don't! 😂

Thanks for the comparison. QUESTION: I have such a frustrating time with any brand of glues! While I am diligent about putting the pin or cap back on, seems that whenever I get to crafting (which is maybe 1-2x per month) EVERY dang glue tip is clogged! Grrrr…. Anyone else have this problem? I probably would craft more if it weren’t for knowing the frustration with glue tips was about to occur…again. 😬

Sorry that's happening, so frustrating! While it does happen from time to time for me I use hot water and clean the tip. I wouldn't want to have to do that every time I craft. Do you store it upright or upside down?

@@highgroundhomestead I use a small narrow glass to store my glues upside down. When the tips get clogged I use a baby wipe to clean the needle and the tip.

Do you know anything about the SB glue and temperature? I switched to Bearly Art because it was no affected as much by cold.

Jess, how do they compare in regards to squeezing the glue out? The Bearly arts bottle squeezes easily. I ask because some people have wrist issues. Normally I am fine, but yesterday I made 75 cards using your latest template. So my hand was getting tired of squeezing by 1:30 ish when I finished.

Karla, since the Artis flows more slowly so I think it would be more tiring but if I was assembling cards and not just small die cuts I'd switch either glue to a larger tip. If using to assemble cards it might be worth it to have two bottles, one for small tip and one for ultra fine tip. I might do that since I now have an extra bottle. Hope that makes sense.
