Hello, friends!! I've been really enjoying scrapbooking and journalling lately, so I thought it would be so fun to scrapbook together for this video. I'll be sharing some tips and tricks on how to create a simple yet beautiful cottagecore-style scrapbook! 🌼🌿

Your channel just popped up in my recommendations and it is lovely! I suggest using a fountain or calligraphy pen when you write in your scrapbook or journal. You will be pleasantly surprised at how much nicer your handwriting looks! I changed over to calligraphy pen and love how my handwriting looks so pretty especially when I see it from a distance. 🙂

Aww thank you so much!! 💕 That is such a wonderful suggestion, I will definitely try using a fountain or calligraphy pen next time--I'm so excited to see how it turns out! Are there any particular brands or beginner-friendly options you would recommend?!

@@MyMoonstoneKitchen I use a Speedball calligraphy pen I picked up at Hobby Lobby for about $12. Buy extra cartridges so you don't run out of ink. (Lesson learned!)

That turned out so pretty! I love that washi tape, it is gorgeous! I'm guilty of having thousands of pictures on my phone too and they never get printed. I definitely need to pull out my scrapbooking stuff and start working on it. Thanks for the inspiration! (Btw, I used to work at Michaels and it was so hard not to spend half my paycheck on all the pretty papers and yarn and home decor! 🤣)

I used to scrap book years ago and enjoyed it but recently I started making junk journals. I enjoy the process and give away as gifts. I should make one and complete for myself because, like you, I have an extreme amount of pictures on my phone.

I used to scrapbook a lot and it was fun and I look back on them from time to time. I went to digital scrapbooking just because motherhood, homeschooling, and my other hobbies were higher priority. I also am a minimalist and a former professional photographer so I had boxes of photos and had to really limit them down, scan them all, and try to declutter and also didn't want to have so much in print. . .so I put my favorites in scrapbooks! I honestly own no loose photos now. Craziness. Anyway, such a fun hobby. I enjoyed it while I did it. Regardless, I LOVE seeing other people's scrapbooks and family albums. The fact that you shared bits of your own life and scrapbooking here, was really wonderful. I love how you arrange things and figure out how you will do a page. How cute that you wrote affirmations as a child!

I love your idea about decluttering all of your loose photos and putting your favorites into scrapbooks!! It can feel so overwhelming to have a bunch of photos lying around (especially in boxes where we never see them). Is there a specific platform or software you use for digital scrapbooking?! En high school llegue hacer scrapbook 📔 son muy bonitos pero la verdad toman mucho tiempo. Esos dibujos son los que más significados tienen te hacen sacar una 😀 sonrisa. Se parecen a los dibujos de mi pequeña de 5 años 😊😊. Espero seguir viendo tu arte. A mí también me encanta las manualidades y ahora estoy aprendiendo hacer velas y jabones cuídensen les veo en el próximo capítulo.

Love your scrapbook, such beautiful memories 💞, and totally agree, my grandchildren’s generation is the most photographed, but they are just left on our phones:( I have a Happy planner that I journal in and put favourite family photos in and my Granddaughter’s love looking through it💝 They’ll say ‘ I remember that Grandma’ and it’s just pure joy 😍

This is so beautiful. I love the kraft paper, it adds such a depth to the pages. I love the little printer, it's going to be a "maybe someday" for me. I will start budgeting for it. I too was a very shy little girl, we lived near an island so I spent much time there. Books were and are still my best friends. Thank you for sharing!!!

I love that we had some similar childhood experiences and love reading-that makes me so happy!! 😊📚💕 And I’m so excited for you to get your own mini printer soon!! If you have Facebook marketplace in your area, I highly recommend checking to see if anyone is selling a mini printer secondhand, I’ve gotten lots of wonderful secondhand items on there!! I have the Instax mini printer, but have also heard amazing things about the Canon Ivy (in case you want to check for that one, too)!! 💕💕
