Totally Tiffany carries something very similar. I like it even better because they have retractable handles.

So glad to see a new video! I should do this more. I don’t plan enough. I usually end up down a rabbit hole of Instagram looking for inspiration instead of scrapbooking. Are you adding more to these kits before you make layouts?

Yes, I add more supplies. Once I have the papers and the photos, I will plan the design and once I know what I'm doing, I'll then go and find all the other stuff; i.e alphabets, embellishments, tools like stamps or dies, etc... Thank you for watching! I just took a break over the holidays because I just wasn't scrapbooking much. Lots of new videos coming in January!

Just curious… If the baby collection paper had worked, color wise, would you have used that paper? If so, what would have been your process to find embellishments to go with it? I’d like to become more flexible using themed papers.

Great question! It wasn’t the colors that didn’t work for me, it was more the mood of the papers. The baby papers were sweet and cute. The photos were more fun and energetic, so that’s why I passed. But if I hadn’t found anything else, I could have gone back to them, for sure. For embellishments, I would look to the paper to see what I could pull out. The baby papers had stars and hearts and arrows and rainbows. All things I could pull from other ephemera packs or stickers or die cuts (and maybe find punches and stamps too for that matter!). I also have a big collection of 3x4 and 4x6 cards that might have had some images I could fussy cut. Something as simple as “Love This” with an arrow on a 3x4 card could work if the colors worked; add some hearts and stars and enamel dots and that’s an embellishment cluster! And I do have color bins where I will keep any leftovers that no longer fit anywhere else. I would try to find leftovers in the same colors from the papers. This is a great challenge idea for me to think more about. 😀
