Our rivers you need a pretty powerful boat , my friend had a jet boat with a four cylinder Volvo , diesel . He went up the Stikean , and when he got to a canyon , he could go no further . So he went home , ripped out the four cylinder and put in a 350 small block Chevy . The next time he was in up the river , thru the canyon , no problem The main river here close to home is the Skeena , you need a fairly powerful boat , many people have drowned in it over the years , it’s not fit for small boats or canoes , you see people using them all the time , I wouldn’t take the chance . The ocean is a hour away , I like it a lot , prawn and crab fishing , the best fishing so many different types . We often troll for salmon , their so shiny and clean , way nicer than river caught ones . 👍🇨🇦

a lot of the rivers here are slow flowing, and some too shallow. but just after a rain a totally different story. fast and crazy. I think some of the best floating rivers are in the eastern part of the state

Excellent video Allen it was very enjoyable you keep this up and you will have all your motors done and that's a great idea to get a mud motor keep making video as you can we will watch them when you do thank you for sharing this six stars brother

Thanks 👍 looking at a Mud-Skipper kit. the small kit runs $295.00 and a harbor freight 6.5 hp 212 cc's runs $150.00 so about $450 before tax and shipping cost. and from a few videos I have watched it will go plenty fast enough for me.

I bought some of them go yonder blades or disc that you use. I was using one the other day cutting out a rivet and the blade exploded. Never would’ve thought that was gonna happen.

I have had that happen when applying too much side pressure, trying to use is as a grinding disk

Nice video, you know in my opinion , if you've paid taxes your entire working life then you should not have a worry in the world . Everything should be paid for but sadly my mom lives on 1,100 a month.

the wife and I get over twice that amount, but the scrapping money still helps out a lot. I hope that she owns her home. would be hard to live and pay rent on that income. then utilities on top of that
