100th like 👍, personally I don’t usually like tool reviews cos they drag on & on but this was the most enjoyable in depth straight to the point precise one ever! I think you’re in the wrong job mate, I bought the Erbauer radial saw before finding out the evolution blades are easier to get, versatile piece of kit you have there you lucky currant 😂, good show 👏

Cheers Ian. Don't have the room for one but do have their crosscut compound mitre saw with the same blade. Got to make a welding trolley. Will make use of.

Lol. I was indeed apprehensive, but the tripod leg was touching the saw frame picking up the vibrations, but I will go with your viewpoint.💩

For the cost. It is. It does have faults like a flimsy Throat plate, but for what I was cutting that disintegrated matter, though I’ve seen that Evolution have just brought out an aluminium zero clearance plate that sorts out that issue

I needed one Evolution machine like the one today on the live stream I try to cimilate esacley what you just show that Evolution machine did. My Evolution circular sow just broke down by me trying to do esacley that.

Looks decent enough Ian cuts well enough so in my opinion good machine. Sliced the checker plate like butter. Nice one Ian good review. It should help you out. 👍

Evolution does make pretty good stuff. I have the 14” chop saw. A blade lasts for quite a while. I’m not sure it is cheaper than an abrasive saw, but there is less mess there is no smoke there are way fewer sparks they are quieter (less noisy) the blade never gets smaller (so I can cut the same size material till the blade is done) and the quality of cut is near perfect and no burr at first but as the blade dulls it does start to leave a few slight burrs. Evolution didn’t send me mine so I definitely have no incentive “exaggerate” the good points or over look the bad ones. The bad is the upfront cost of the machine and the cost of the blades. However Cheap things are seldom good and good things are seldom cheap. I have always been satisfied with my purchase of my evolution saw.

You have to put the square in between the teef on the blade then adjust the blade & set it square.

Im well impressed with that saw. You've no excuse for keeping shite now. Me cutting things with the grinder looks like the stone age ☺️ Good price on the blades aswell. Watch the fingers lad, it will only bite you once 😳 Get a spare blade when they are going cheap.

I'm someone with a lot of experience destroying circular saw blades hitting the wrong thing. All it takes is one screw or a spring (my latest blunder) or other hardened steel to totally wreck a beautiful blade. Is it time to sell the band saw and use this full time?

At last! You got around to it. Just dropped off a l/s discussing the online safety bill. New censorship legislation. I quoted Frog, phil. Voltaire. Nobody understood. 😥 Got the Evo sliding mitre saw. Mixed reviews. For my work, I get by with my circular saw, jig saw, multi tool etc on the DeWalt battery platform. Not a chippy. The Evo was an impulse buy. From what I have heard, the Evo stuff is OK for the DIY'er and chuck it in rough, chippy sorta stud work. Not so good for the fine detail woodwork stuff. It will cut anything, so it's good for that stuff. Back to the mind boggling philosophical shite. René Descartes was a drunken fart, I drink therefore I am. 🍻See Monty Python! Philosophers song. Or "Gimpy, gimpy, gimpy a man after midnight". Everly Pregnant Brothers. Proceed with caution!!!!
