WOW this is amazing, I’m just starting off on my water colouring journey. I’ve got my main essentials and been watching some videos, but am I glad I’ve just come across your video. You’ve just showed me in 1 video, what I kinda thought was the way to go about starting. This really shows how strong and dark those pigments are and we’re just a little bit of water how much variation you can get out of just one watercolor pen. I’ve definitely been using mine all wrong, and coloring in the whole design with a solid color, and this shows why it’s always too dark & too deep.

Great video Nicole! Now I don’t think I’ll be as hesitant to use the dark colors, and use the watercolor brush to drop the initial color onto the petal.
